In search of a pasta spot to give our soccer kids much needed carbs and PizzaVola was the choice. Located in a shopping strip on Minton Road this spot had plenty of parking. They also had indoor and outdoor dining options. We stopped in with a group of soccer kids and usually that's a "oh no" but that wasn't the case. The staff were very welcoming and amazing with our kiddos. They had a $9.49 kids menu with great options which included a drink. So kids got the spaghetti with meatballs and we ended up ordering the pizza by the slice since they looked so good. Kids devoured the pasta and some of the kids didn't want the meatballs which were their loss and our win. The meatball was really good. Anytime you see one big meatball and somewhat not perfectly shaped you know it's gonna smack. And this one sure did. But the pizza was also really good. Nice size slice, no flop and with a nice crisp to it. We opted for a regular cheese slice and a slice of the white pizza. Both were superb. I also fell in love with the pizza rose with pepperoni. It was so beautiful that I almost didn't want to break it apart. It was also delicious. Overall this was a great spot and recommend when looking for a place to bring the family or large parties. Staff were very accommodating and they have a large space to hold a good amount of folks. When in the area I definitely recommend PizzaVola. read more

I was in town visiting my Mom and she had mentioned that BCPS employees get 25% off the tab and we decided to pay them a visit! The servers were so sweet and attentive! They had our drinks promptly and delivered the food as it was cooked. The food was delish all around but the pizza was definitely the star of the show. The toppings were honestly my favorite part which is saying a lot as I love bread. lol The dining area was plenty big enough for the lunch rush and whoever was in charge of the music had impeccable taste! I made my first order today after wanting to since their grand opening last year. I placed my order, for delivery, on-line on their super user friendly website. My pizza arrived in about 30 minutes in a greasy crushed box. Most of the cheese was in the side of the box, not on the pizza. That said, it was, by far, one of the best pizzas I've had since leaving Boston's North End!! And Pizza Vola will be my go-to choice in the future. This place is a hit or miss. We have ordered dine in and take out numerous times. The pizza is good..sometimes way overcooked or even undercooked. The wings are pretty good usually however, the last few times have tasted like completely different wings. I'm not sure if they switched providers where they buy the wings or if we have just been unluckily getting the bottom of the barrel wings. For dine in, there is a nice sized inside, an outside area and a bar. I've never had an issue with the service. I will return as we've had good experiences, I just hope the food can be a little more consistent. read more

Had dinner tonight and left very upset. First we eat here often and never had such bad service. We had a new girl and the only reason why I knew that is because she told the table next to ours that she was new and was still trying the food. So we ordered out food she brings my husbands salad out without my soup he eats his entire salad and 10 minutes later I still don't have my soup. My husband stops her and asks about my soup she blames the people in the back and says they forgot but they were making it now!!! First you never bring out one persons food without the others so they have to sit and watch the other person eat so that was strike one. Then I ordered chicken franchise with penne pasta she never asked about the sauce on my penne so before it came out I called her over to confirm that my penne will have the same sauce as my chickien and she say you have to special order it that way and I said no You being the waitress are supposed to ask me if I want red sauce or the same sauce on the chicken !!! So she brings out the pasta with red sauce and it was spaghetti after I asked her for penne. She brings it back and it takes 15 more minutes to get my pasta. 10/11/2025 at 7:30 pm. Customer Service needs improvement. I am standing waiting for my order, placed an order online and went to the location to pick it up. Walked into the restaurant paid for my pizza and stood by the side waiting for my food. So, a person whom I believe is the owner or manager is standing next to me with a clip board writing down some numbers and I assume tracking stock of supples and food on the counter. Does not say "Hello" no Good Evening. Absolutely nothing but a person of a different color walks in and he immediately says "Hello Sir." How are you doing and their conversation goes on about what he is ordering and then he walks to a table where a father and son are sitting at and he ask them "how they are doing" and they have a conversation about where one of them is from. To make a long story, be nice and greet all people/customers that come in your establishment. Maybe because I'm a person of color and he is racist. Not sure but will never come back. read more

I absolutely love pizzavola. They have amazing food, especially their pizza and pasta (and I grew up in Long Island, NY). However, I recently ordered from them off DoorDash and I was blown away that it was $12 to add a SINGLE meatball to a ravioli order. I know I could've read it a bit better, but for $12 (and a $32 order in total for ravioli and the meatball), I definitely expected more than a single tiny meatball. read more

Our online order was fairly simple. Pizza and a salad. I requested extra dressing for the salad and extra basil for the pizza. I got the wrong dressing, no extra dressings, and no extra basil. When the waitress waited on me she got my salad wrong, I can't have a lot of salad dressing so I asked for the dressing on the side. Salad came and the dressing was all over the salad,. Last night, my husband, our three-year-old, our five-year-old, and I arrived at the restaurant at 9 PM, just an hour before closing. We were told it was okay to stay, but the staff looked uncomfortable letting us in. It was 48°F outside, and with a window open, our hands and our kids' hands were freezing.
