We live nearby and have eaten here many times, both afternoon and evening, both alone and as a couple. One time on a Friday night I sat at another group's table and joined in the conversation for a good discussion about movies and life in Berlin.
The delicious pizza is baked in a special oven and has a flat, chewy crust. My favorite is "Regina di Cuori," Queen of Hearts, out of the five different ones I've tried. Have also had three different salads, Aroncino with and without meat, three different desserts, and coffees.
The two Italian servers (probably proprietors) are very personable and cheerful. The waiting time on the service can be a little spotty sometimes, but they are always nice. If something goes wrong they offer shots of liqueur to make up for it.
Dessert Report: there are three different choices -- tiramisu, chocolate panna cotta, and yogurt-mousse with strawberries on top. Usually two of the three are available on any one day. They've told me they often have tiramisu only Wednesday through Sunday, because it wasn't selling fast enough on Mondays and Tuesdays and they want it to be fresh.
Music Report: I suspect the guys choose the music themselves, because it's always different. Usually a variety, but a few times there has been a one-band binge: Abba, AC/DC, or one time an entire meal accompanied by Queen -- "We're deep in the back catalog now," said my husband.
