I don't know how long they have offered vegan options, though it seems like the restaurant itself has been around a few years. But there are too menus: one for omnivores and one for veggies. It's somewhat nondescript in decor, but the restaurant has a lot of seating, and an "open" counter area where you can see your pizza dough being rolled out, toppings being added, and the final product placed in the oven. I've had the spinach pizza and also the mista...both were pretty good, though I think the first one I had was better (I was also a bit buzzed when I ate it, which made it irresistible to me). I also found that the pizzas are a bit salty, which is fine because I am a salt fanatic, but something worth noting. All in all, I don't think Zeus is THE BEST VEGAN PIZZA EVER, but if I am craving a bite and in the neighborhood, it certainly is a solid option.

I think L'Osteria is known for having *huge* pizzas, and yes omg let me tell you it was definitely HUGE! (Picture posted so you can see, it was as big as my body!) However while I enjoyed the experience of chilling in the restaurant with my giant pizza and radler (and my waiter was super friendly and chill too!), how much I enjoyed my food was a whole other story. Toppings were sparse and the pizza was way, way too salty. I will likely not be back next time I visit just based on the quality of the pizza, which is unfortunate as everything else about this restaurant was quite pleasant.

No one came up to us and offered assistance. We were two tourists and I am sure our facial expressions screamed, "I am lost". A very nice young lady explained that we needed to go to the counter to order our food and have our card scanned. Then after the meal, bring the card down to the first floor to be re-scanned and pay for the meal. Interesting and complicated concept. At least they should have some sort of written instructions? They did not. The good... The food was fresh and prepared directly in front of you. So that was cool. The risotto was MASSIVE in size. I couldn't finish even half of it. The Caprese pasta was good. The bruschetta was flavorful but the bread came out soggy. Partly our fault b/c we waited a while before we ate it. There were two people in front of us and it took about 15-20 minutes before it got to us. Another 15-20 minutes for the meal to be cooked. So all in all, 40 minutes total before we got our food. So I can't imagine if this place was busy, how long the wait would be.

A little dried out from sitting out and then being reheated, but cheap and tons of topping options by the slice. I have to rave about the PASTA. They're all priced at $6-8 euros and you get a large portion (plenty for one person, shareable for two if you're not super hungry). We tried the pesto pasta and it was so fresh and flavorful, plus we had a major cheese craving and they DELIVERED with a big pile of parmesan served on the side that you can mix in. The whole product range is the most fresh and tasty. Everyone can find here something for a carnivore or vegetarian. You order at pizzerman, then you go to the cashier to pay, wait a minute and you get a hot piece of pizza. Each piece costs 2.5 euros, for the hungry find yourself even half a meter. The Italian atmosphere you can feel on your own skin, hearing the buzz of employees and fantasies additional connections. Minus for chaos on dirty tables. Not sure if it was the dim, candle-lit lighting or being jet-lagged (maybe both?), but don't make the same mistake I did by thinking the shaker of a dark yellow powdery substance is garlic powder because it's really brown sugar!
