    Crabmeat and flatbread appetizer
    Junella T.

Came here for lunch and ordered a set. It's cheaper than dinner prices but might not fill you up. So we ordered one of their appetizers as well. The pizza comes on a thin crust and besides their basic cheese and meats, they also have a wide selection of unique combinations like seafood. The sauce is good as well as the texture of the pie. The style is western but still very different than the pizza you get from the states. Their pasta was slightly overcooked and the sauce was really watery. The appetizer was good but was surprised at how simple it was but tasted very delicious.

Delicious pizza Took a star off because they need to balance the sauce a bit more. Very sweet. Overall very nice little place

Food is good, although a bit expensive. Unfortunately the noise Level in the Restaurant is horrific. Make sure you get one of the package Deals for multiple persons. The Pizzas are alright but the pasta is very good, altough lacking salt in all dishes we tried. What we liked is that they customized the Pizza as my wife is a vegan.

Having a lunch catch up with my girlfriends today. No idea where to go so we randomly went to Pizza Express at Times Square. My friends already ordered a lunch set for 2 when I arrived, and a pizza. When I see the menu - $138 for 2, inc. drinks - it's a bit too cheap right?! Having a 2nd look at the menu, ok, it's only 1 appetiser and 1 main course for 2.. Dun think that's enough we further ordered the cheese dip to fit for 3 person. So we have a bready lunch - the garlic bread appetiser, the cheese dip, a pizza and a farfalle. An enjoyable lunch as usual. Food is good as usual and the staff are friendly.

This made the space quite comfortable yet elegant at the same time. Service was attentive without it being overbearing--helpful with the dish selection as well. We thought the dishes were great from start to finish. The burrata was creamy, complimented by the tart and sweet grilled peach while being cut by the savory cured meats. I ordered the lamb medium-rare and really enjoyed how it was prepared, and the pasta dishes similarly turned out delicious. We felt like the presentation of the dishes were very thoughtful on top of its great taste. Both desserts were a necessary closing of the meal--the creaminess of the tiramisu and panna cotta was not overbearing and helped highlight the respective flavors of coffee and fruit in these desserts!

I am also big on dessert so the new tiramisu recipe was particularly noteworthy, standing out from others that I've tried. Kudos to Boris and Elle for their attentive service; they frequently checked in on us and ensured our comfort. Overall, my visit to Pirata was a delightful experience that I look forward to repeating. Thank you Pirata Group.

La Cucina Italiana Review on 2017.5.16…read more This is my second visit of this restaurant. I had no memory what I ordered last time, but I had great memory of it. The complimentary starters were two sauces with baguette, one was tomato onion garlic with vinegar and one was garlic pickle salt vinegar from guessing. I could eat it whole night just that. For starter, we had Proscuitto Melone with a very slim slice of soft bread. The melone was very sweet. I had to wonder where was the country of origin. The prosciutto was good. It had less fat than those from my Italian friend. I dont think it was any special to eat them together. For pizza, we ordered Napolitan Style, Seafood, and Assorted Mushroom Pizza. Definitely one of the best in HK. " Pizza Expression " was a joke compare to it. All pizza was made very thin and crunchy, full of topping. I would recommend Seafood Pizza out of all three. I loved their noodle and rice. We had Seafood Spaghetti, Spwaghetti with Clams and White Wine Sauce, Risotto with Asserted Mushroom, and Cannelone. They had the Rice and spaghetti a bit hard like the way Italian would. Both seafood and clam spaghetti were very delicious. Cannelone was pasta roll. ( it is like Tortellini) inside have good balance of good Ricotta Cheese and spinach. The environment was a bit dark, but overall was a comfy place with italian garden feel. Other fact i like this resturant was that they really had many dishes to pick. For the service be expected lack of staff, i wouldn't complaint that too much in hk environment. Rating would be: Taste: 4.5 Environment: 4 Service: 3 Hygiene: 4.5 Value: 4

It's not a completely novel idea to have Japanese and Italian fusion cuisine, but it's still refreshing among all the Italian restaurants in Causeway (and to be fair, Japanese restaurants as well). The restaurant (and the whole building) is quite small. It's not full, but sitting at one of the tables not close to the wall would definitely make you feel uncomfy. It's all everyone in the restaurant could have their eyes on you. But you have to appreciate the colorful decor they put on. Pretty lit too, unlike your typical fine dining restaurant. Not sure if it's better or worse though. We ordered a Grilled Lobster Risotto, Wagyu Beef Cheek with Italian rice (I looked at the menu online, it said it served with Inaniwa Udon instead.. weird), and a Black Cod Saikyo Yaki. The food were all okay, to say the least. The main problem was, it didn't feel like fusion. It's like a restaurant with both Italian food and Japanese food on the menu. Which is fine, but not that impressive. Say if you use Italian rice to make a sushi, that would be a first. We did enjoy the dinner there and ended up being the last table leaving the restaurant. If you are looking for a nice dining place on a weekend, it's decent enough. If you are looking for some innovative dishes, then look elsewhere.

In fact I was even a little skeptical. How could a watch brand open restaurants and serve decent food? This restaurant in particular serves Italian Japanese food. When you first walk in you quickly feel that it is a very comfortable environment. The restaurant is full of colors and they have nice open kitchen and bar. We ordered a variety of different dishes between the four of us. Some of the things that we ordered included Okinawa miso pork, baked chicken casserole a wagyu beef cheek. I was impressed by the quality of the dishes, I just have to highlight them individually. First of all the Okinawa miso pork was roasted to perfection it was fatty but they served it with a side salad. It was so tasty I think I could have had it with a bowl of rice and finished the whole thing on my own easily. the other dish we ordered was the baked chicken casserole. to me when they open the pot, it felt like clay pot rice. Really brought back childhood memories. it was so yummy and they even have the little pieces stuck to the bottom of the bowl, that was the best part. The final thing I wanted to highlight is the wagyu beef cheek, I like how they paired it with a Japanese udon. I think that was a classic example of what they classified as Italian Japanese. I would definitely come back anytime, any day
