We went to the Pizza Ranch today for lunch. The staff were all friendly. If you have a favorite pizza, you tell the staff member as you pay what style crust and toppings you want and they give you a number to place on your table for the wait. When it's ready, they bring your freshly prepared pizza and ask how many slices you would like and plate it, then they take the remaining to the buffet for others to try. The buffet has a nice salad bar, quite a selection of pizzas and a lot to choose from drink-wise. They also have a smaller bar with corn, green beans, mashed potatoes and gravy, waffle fries, a few other items and fried chicken. I LOVE fried chicken and let me tell you.....it was fabulous! It took me back to childhood when I can remember the occasions we would go to the Shakey's buffet (which had chicken very reminiscent of this). Still hungry enough to find a spot for dessert? Oh. My. Word. They have got a wonderful, creamy, smooth vanilla ice cream that beats a lot of soft serve I've had. Their dessert pizza is awesome too, with a flavor to suit anyone. You have got to try this place! The atmosphere was relaxing and I really liked the soft Christian music in the background, too. We will definitely go back. The staff came many times to see if we needed anything and to clear plates. All around winner. read more

Best buffet I've been to in a very long time. Employees are all very friendly. Prices aren't too bad. Seems like the place is always busy which is good. Pizza is delicious. And I'm giving this place 5 stars just for the chicken. read more

I have only been here for the buffet, but I think that's the best offering for Pizza Ranch. There is always a great variety of pizza on the buffet. You can also request your own, and they'll bring it out to your table later. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food is always fresh. read more

Food isn't great especially for the price. Chicken was raw. The manager is rude and very unchristian like.

All around a pretty good place. Decent. Coming in the first employee I saw, Kathlyn, was very nice and helpful. She showed us to our table and told us where everything was. The waitress was pretty slow at taking our plates when we were done, and the salt shaker was empty so we had to go to another table to get a new one. Going into the salad bar it looked good from a far, however after putting them on my salad, I found out that the eggs were frozen. Then getting mashed potatoes they were cold. Also, they didn't have many choices for drinks. No Pepsi. But all around most of the food was pretty good, and I wouldn't mind coming back here. read more

Best pizza buffet we've ever been to. And my wife is a pizza fanatic!!! Let's you special order whatever you'd like and gives you first slices before it's put on the buffet. Crispiest thin crust I've seen anywhere. Fried chicken is top notch too. Most choice of dessert pizza anywhere. Special orders are not a problem. I love the western decor!! If you leave hungry, it certainly isn't their fault!! Will come back often and look for other locations when we travel. read more

Great pizza with lots of choices of food. The staff was friendly. Got really busy after my family and I left. I would be definitely be coming back. Love their dessert bar. read more

Friendly staff, the place was busy but the food never was in short supply, they kept up with it quite well. Everything my wife and I had was done exceedingly well and was very tasty. If you stay at the Quality Inn you get a 10% discount so the buffet cost us $23.0 5 for the two of us. read more

Saw the ads on tv and happened to be passing by so we decided to stop for lunch. Not bad! the young man at the register explained everything to us when we told him it was our first time there. We then saw him running frantically cleaning tables and working the register. When I asked him if they were short handed he said "a little bit but nothing we can't handle" and they did handle it. Our plates were picked up promptly. When a drink ran out, silverware needed to be filled or food added it was done quickly. The employees were "hopping". They food was pretty good. It was fun trying the different combinations on the pizzas and the chicken was also very tasty. The dessert pizzas were not a disappointment either, warm with fruit toppings and the option of ice cream for a la mode. Very enjoyable spur of the moment lunch. We plan to return in the future. read more

Probably the dirtiest place I've ever been in. Trash everywhere, every table dirty. Definitely would not recommend. If I could give zero stars I would. Won't be back!! read more

Had a gift card so figured we'd try it out. Walked in and saw no one at the front counter. Waited a few moments and finally found a young man. HE was great, asked where we wanted to sit, if we needed any booster seats (had 2 babies with us), showed us to our seats, and explained to us how they do service. Went up to the buffet which was rather messy BUT there was a young lady trying to clean it up. Food was decent but not great. Loved the salad bar but pizza and chicken were VERY greasy. The mashed potatoes were AMAZING!! Would consider trying it again, but the price is a little more than I'd pay if I didn't have the gift card. read more

I literally have not a single nice thing to say about this place. Let's first start off with the employees at the front desk. My friend and I ordered a chicken dinner to split. After we paid we asked for cups for water, the employee seemed completely baffled by this question. As if I was speaking in a different language. After looking around she explained that it would most likely not be possible for us to receive cups for water. We would have to pay for them. I explained I have never had to pay for tap water at a restaurant before. She then seemed confused again and finally gave us the cups for water. It was very crowded and hot. The chicken arrived without sides. Ten minutes passed by before my friend got up to ask where are sides are. In another 7 minutes we received them. The fried chicken was abnormally greasy, and over all fatty. It was hard to get any real meat off of it. The "ranch potatoes" were hard as rocks. They could have been used as a weapon. No seasoning. The buffet appeared to have all canned fruits and veggies. The pizza looked like it was served right out of a high school cafeteria. Whatever people see in this place is beyond me. We will never be back. read more

I enjoy going to Pizza ranch chains. The best one I've gone to is in Washington Iowa because they are more friendly and always check on you to see if they can get you anything else and if everything is okay. They also ask if you need booster seats or high chairs instead of assuming that you can find them yourself if you need one. Haven't really had a bad experience with this one except for some of the employees seem lost like they don't know how to do their job or are to busy to take a min to check on you or your order. read more

Fantastic lunch buffet! Several different kinds of pizza, a buffet line of fried chicken & sides, & an awesome salad bar! Had never been to a pizza ranch before, but we will definitely be back! read more

Food was great!! Best fried chicken I've ever had. My old disappointment was when I brought my food home I had no butter packets for my bisquets :( I guess that teaches me to keep it in my fridge. Will definitely be back and highly recommend read more

PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE learn how to make Cactus Bread correctly. I judge every Pizza Ranch on Cactus Bread and this location's is the worst. In the oven far too long. Actually complained during soft open and corporate trainer talked to me personally. It was fine on the next visit but has been terrible since. Will have to go to Morton or Bloomington in the future. read more

First of all I will NEVER go back to this Pizza Ranch in Peoria Il. again EVER!! Either will ANY of the 13 ladies I came with. We all plan to tell everyone they we know how we were all treated by the OWNER...which is the worst part of all...not the employees..the all were great...it was the OWNER! It all begin when I went to ask where my chicken salad was. I thought because we were in a separate room that they might not could find me. So, I went out to find some one to help me. I saw a lady with Pizza Ranch on her shirt and ask her and she said sharply that she just got there and didn't know. Then I told her I was in that room and didn't know if they could find me (they give you a number). She then came to my table and ask me how long it had been and I told her I didn't know. She said she was going to check on my ticket and see and then she came back to tell me that it had only been 12 minutes and started arguing with me about it all. My daughter saw how she was talking to me and didn't like it and ask the OWNER if she was having a bad day? And she snapped at her then. She left and came right back and handed me a salad in a container like you get a salad from McDonald's..(the salads at McDonald's are much better). I opened it up as the owner stood over me and I said they forgot my chicken and she said oh no it is in there. I looked threw the salad and found a couple old hard as a rock pieces of burnt chicken pieces that were cut up in size of a pea. She left and I refused to eat it. I was in shock. The sweet waitress that came in next saw it and she immediately went back and got me some fresh warm chicken to put on it and it took seconds to return....she was amazing. Then the owner came back in and started taking food off our table. She handed me my money back which I didn't ask for and then turned around and made appoint to tell me that well she gave me my money back!!! WOW!! I had put my to go salad container on the table after putting my salad on a plate. My daughter had just ordered some Taco pizza and she had put them in the container to clear her plate to get a dessert so that she didn't dirty up another plate and the owner went to take her taco pizza. I told her that not to take that and she said you CAN'T TAKE IT TO GO it would be STEALING!!! REALLY...WHAT??? I said she wasn't going to take it home...WOW...I about fell over!!!! I had to actually tell the OWNER that I wasn't going to argue with her that we would just leave it at that....she was determined to get the last word...it was like handling a small spoiled child. Then the OWNER took another lady's food while we were getting our picture taken. Then when she told her she took her food... she snapped out on her!! Then the OWNER went around talking sharply to each other lady that was with us asking if she could take their plates!! She was so RUDE!...it was ridiculous! All of us are in their 50's and 60's...We all meet once a month to eat at different places and have been doing this for years and NEVER have we EVER had a experience like this EVEN!!! Even when we spoke with several of the employees that work there they suggested never to apply for job there and that this wasn't the first time the OWNER has run people out of this Pizza Ranch....I sure hope she doesn't talk to her own mother like that......because with the facial expressions she has and the rudeness,,, she really should never be working with the public!! read more

Pizza ranch peoria il location gets no stars! Nothing like the morton il location . FIRST OF ALL, I don't think they rotate their food at a timely fashion. This restrant floor was dirty and bathroom unkempt. My 10 y/o daughter got sick and woke up with projectile vomiting after eating there and was to weak to even bare weight.. I informed the store and the manager was pleasant of whom referred me to the general manager.(mind u I'm just informing them of my daughters sickness and to tell them I have heard several others talking about how they got sick from this location# not looking for a hand out, anyway the GM called me and was rude and short only wanting my info for a claim to protect her a**not even inquiring about my daughter. I wouldn't suggest a dog to eat at the peoria location and I didn't do the claim. Plz just clean up your restaurant read more

On December 1, 2017, I reserved a community room for my daughter's 2nd birthday. When we arrived business was booming and it was hardly any space to walk through. The staff that greeted me was very helpful in finding out which room I would be using. She stated there was a mix up and another party ended up with the room I should've had. All went well. She moved the other party to the other community room and allowed me to set up for my daughters party. Due to business being heavy on a Friday night there wasn't much out on the buffet and I was worried that we had wasted our money, so I ordered a few pizzas for us to have in the room and they came out fairly quickly. The staff were trying their best to keep the buffet as full as possible. When the party was over, we were cleaning and carrying things out to the car and I didn't realize I had left my purse until I was home. One of the table bussers turned it in untouched. There was no money in there but I have been monitoring activity on my credit cards and so far so good. I want to tell the staff there THANK YOU for being so courteous on such a hectic work night and one particular individual...she is the one who gave me my purse as well as the person who greeted me...I want to tell her thank you for keeping a smile during a time most would not. I made a wonderful choice in choosing to have my daughter's party at Pizza Ranch! read more
