I will start out by saying I was never a big fan of pizza ranch but with a group of 12 people passing through Harvey there wasn't a large choice of places to eat. We went to Pizza Ranch and as far as I'm concerned they hit it out of the ballpark in every area, chicken was great, pizza was great, the buffet bar was well stocked and excellent customer service. Not much to pick from in Harvey. If you eat during buffet hours --do able. Not the best chicken or pizza etc but edible and enjoyable if you are craving greasy food. But when it comes to pick up- take way- don't do it. On two different occasions we ordered pizza and salad. Both times the salad had FROZEN like with icicles lettuce, tomatoes and chopped boiled egg!!! We haven't eaten there ever again after that. Nuff said! read more

This pizza ranch is a bit different in the sense of it's not a buffet. You have to order pizza at the front and they will bring it out to you. Besides that minor inconvenience, the pizza was absolutely amazing. Came out hot and delicious. The two workers were very kind and considerate. 10/10 would recommend. read more

August 11, 2018 my daughter was going to treat me to a meal in Harvey, N.D. I said lets try Pizza Ranch , I like the chicken there , this was a Saturday night at 7:10 p.m. We walked up to the counter to order and one employee was topping a pizza, looked at us and turned away, no Hello, nothing , next lady in the back, walked out to the man in front said something to him , looked at us and also walked away, We stood there waiting to get service, but no one came to the till , or seem to give a damn we wanted food to order. They all knew we was standing there waiting , not one word of " We will be with you in a moment", nothing so we left. Rude, Rude Rude. Just lost our business for good. read more

This place has a lunch buffet every day and a supper buffet on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. They also have a full menu, which, besides western-themed pizzas, includes fried and barbecued chicken, hot wings, and salads. Just about everything on the menu appears on the buffet at one time or another, so it's a good way to try things out. It's not the best pizza or chicken in the world (I think it's a bit on the salty side), but if you are in Harvey, it's a nice option in the small selection of eating places. read more

I have been to other Pizza Ranch's and have enjoyed them. However, I was very disappointed when I moved to Harvey and realized that this one really is horrible. There are two huge cons. Con #1 - The food at the buffet is typically running out no matter what time you go in and how many people are in there. The last two times I was in there they had ONE kind of pizza out (cold and old) and 20 people who had already paid for the buffet waiting in line for more food to be made. Also, the salad is either empty or rotten. Con #2- The staff is very unfriendly and rude. It is not uncommon to see them sitting on the counter in the back or standing around doing nothing while there is a long line of people waiting for food. All of the signs say (like at other Pizza Ranch's) that you can request any kind of pizza while you are there if you don't see one you want. This time, when we got there (45 minutes before the buffet ends( there was some cold fried chicken and three pieces of pizza at the buffet. When we walked in we heard them groan and complain about the fact that they had more customers. They did the same thing when another man entered 15 minutes later as if how dare we have the nerve to come into the restaurant. After we ate the pizza that was out there my husband requested a pizza be made since it didn't look like they were wanting to refill anything on the buffet. In the back we saw one of the ladies roll her eyes and said, "Is he going to eat the whole pizza? No one else is going to want any. Who would want that pizza? It's gross. The way I make my pizzas is way better!" Then 5 minutes later she came back and said, "We can't make that pizza because we are out of arugula." My husband said that it would be fine without it. She dragged her feet to the back where they resorted to more complaining. Also, sometimes when we go in we are the only ones in there but not a single table has been cleared off for us to sit at. My recommendations: If you want to eat pizza in Harvey then order from JW's. Their pizza is fabulous, not near as greasy/salty. If you really want to eat at Pizza Ranch DO NOT get the buffet. Their order out service is much better than ordering in. Better yet, drive an extra hour to go to Minot where you can have your choice of any pizza with polite service and a clean eating space! read more

Absolutely disgusted! Ordered pizza, chicken and breadsticks. Pizza was a mess with toppings only in the middle and sauce and crust the outer 1/2 of it. Cheesy ranch sticks came with a sprinkling of cheese and no seasoning and the chicken...burnt to a crisp! Chicken was so dry it was like saw dust and there was no skin left on it. Called to speak to a manager and low and behold there isn't one working, so I ask for a supervisor or someone in charge nope there isn't one of them either but the girl that answered the phone insisted I could speak to her. I told her the problems and she said well I'm not cooking so I wouldn't know. She can take my name and number and a manager can call when they work next. Nope I have kids and adults to feed, I paid almost $40 for this disaster and people are hungry. Next suggestion..I can bring all the food back and they'll inspect it. So you screw it up royally and expect me to pack up the food and bring it all back so you can decide if you're going to fix it? Ludacris! read more
