Line was long, but moved quick. They accept cash and card and spoke both French and English. Ambiance on the street was typical of Nice. We ordered the Italianne which was great for the price.

Small takeout place with great pizza - low prices and a great selection. Staff were friendly. Only take cash, though.

Amazing, amazing pizza. Seriously some of the best I've ever had. Combine that with the price (€9 for a large pizza and two cokes) and you can understand why this was what we ate everyday after coming from the beach. Great spot in Old Nice with 3 tables in front of the place, however it seems most people (including us) would take their food to go and find their own place to enjoy. We saw those pizza boxes all over Old Nice! The guys that work there do have terrible attitudes but the value and quality was well worth it!

Stayed in Vieux Nice in September 2019. Pizza Pili was very close by, so before we went I knew I wanted to try it. Their pizza was so good. We are here four or five times during our week stay - it was that good! The staff were patient with my poor French but also spoke good English. Almost two years later we still miss Pizza Pili and talk about it once a week or so. Best advice - get a pizza and sit on the beach! You can't beat the price either. Overall an amazing experience and have many memories for years to come. We will be back!

I was walking at the old town and was dragged to this place by the wonderful pizza smell. First of all the pizza was large, cheap and freshly prepared. The downside were that the pizza was tasteless and the staff were surely unfriendly at all!

Fantastic find, thanks to Yelp! If you want lunch after 2pm, this is the place to come. We ordered the Espagniole and the Provençal pizzas, both of which were so fresh, hand rolled and baked in front of us in the clay oven. Seating is limited and on the street. Arno Moret, our chef and co-owner was very friendly and helpful. Great service, awesome food for the price.

Great pizza. Great staff - very helpful and polite. We had anchovies pizza and it had an adequate amount of anchovies which is unusual.

Great pizza. Fast service and cheap price. It would be nice to have a menu in English for non French speakers. Really enjoyed it!

The service was fine and the staff was friendly. The pizza was OK (a little soggy). This is a good place if you're hungry and in a hurry.

We sat outside on the covered and insulated patio. They also had heat lamps, so it felt ok in February outside. Our waitress was pleasant and efficient. My husband ordered the seafood spaghetti which had a light red sauce and seafood including mussels. He really enjoyed it. I had the lightly fried seafood plate. Check my picture for what's on it. The shrimp was slightly over done but still good. The fish and calamari were breaded and seasoned well. I've never had fried sardines (whole body included; I've only had canned sardines in the past) so I wasn't prepared to eat these. I tried it but it wasn't my preference. The salad was nice and fresh. We also enjoyed a couple of glasses of wine. La Voglia was quick and affordable but good.

We ordered the mixed vegetables platter, bread and a side salad to start as well as drinks. Bread was good as was the mixed vegetables. We then ordered seafood pasta which came with various seafood. Very tasty. Our new friends ordered lasagna, rotini with meat sauce and a salad pizza. They said it was great. Service a bit slow but you in France! Nice outdoor ambiance. Better that the ratings.

The only decent dish we had was the pizza, and it wasn't even great. There was a string baked into our bread as well. Service did not match any of the other restaurants around and was not friendly. The restaurant opens at 7pm for dinner and there was a line formed when we arrived around 7:20, very interesting experience for Europe. Living in the US, this restaurant reminds me of a lot of new restaurant group restaurants that just kind of have a system in place. Again, not a bad thing, but not your place if you are looking for something that feels like classic Italy. The portions here are huge, which they are known for. Note that the menu states each person must order an entree, which seems to discourage sharing (since they literally bring you an entire pan). I got the seafood pasta with shrimp and clams in a fresh tomato sauce and my friend got the lasagna. Both were really good dishes and huge portions. We both had a full meal of leftovers for the next day. Not anything I can't get at a good Italian restaurant in the US, but good food. The espresso martini was a good one though!! I think my 3 stars are more about the overall experience here. The food I would give a 4.
