We were actually looking for another restaurant when we found this place. It seems new and clean with warm cozy ambiance. The Pisa was good and the waiter spoke perfect English which helped a lot. Great place read more

The interior is nicely decorated and cozy. The first room, with a huge chandelier, is my favorite. It's also nice to sit next to the pizza oven. It's all about personal preferences. We usually order pizza and beer. It's a fun and casual combo, and we always enjoy it. Despite that, I think it's worth trying other items on the menu. I heard their burgers are pretty good :). I once had tiramisu for dessert, but it wasn't the best. The flavor was still developing, maybe it was freshly made? If you ask me, I would have preferred an espresso martini to finish the meal next time I'm craving something sweet. Cheers! :)

Due to the size of the room, it was loud and made it diccicult to hear as well as have a conversation. The service started out really bad, but then improved as the meal went on. The reservation on their website failed. There was not a single table available for the early evening. Being in the area, we tried anyway, and got a table in the back room without waiting. I wish we had chosen a seat outside in the garden. It was much nicer there than the dark, narrow part of the restaurant we were seated in. I had a lovely view of my companion, but everything around her was just a boring dark navy colored wall. I have to admit, the server was very polite and all around great. Our food was brought to the table very quickly after placing the order. It felt rushed. Anyway, I just wished there was more flavor, and still, I think their pizza isn't anything special. Maybe more tomato sauce, mushrooms or ingredients in general wouldn't hurt? I'm probably not a fan of certified Neapolitan pizza. It's just too doughy, soft and needs something to elevate its taste. Agnolotti, stuffed pasta, wasn't bad, but again it was missing something. I expected a tastier dish. I prepared Chanterelle recently and it was lovely. There wasn't background music, and it got loud at some point. Given the abundance of Italian restaurants in Krakow, I'm open to try different places and give up on Nolio, unfortunately. Note: I remember having a much better experience at their second location, N'Pizza. The interior, vibe, and even the beer glasses were funkier. Plus, I enjoyed the pizza. Perhaps, because N'Pizza didn't have anything on the menu besides a few appetizers and pizza, they focus more on the quality of every pie they serve.

Actually, it reminds me of Hot Pockets, except the stuff oozing out isn't "cheese analogue". A sign outside the shop claims all ingredients are from Italy. The mozzarella is definitely genuine. The stuff seems to stretch forever. It's the main reason you'd buy the pizza here. For a couple złote you can put additional toppings onto the basic margarita. But as another reviewer noted, the amount you get is rather small. They add some favors to the sea of cheese but don't really change the experience. It's all about the cheese.

Or... well... it's rather been here that my friends take me and THEY seem to like it, so I just tag along. Please message me for other, better pizza options on the square, I'd love to try 'em! While the slices look fine on display, it's the cheese that adds to the "meh, I really don't wanna give more than 2 stars" -decision, but the availability in the middle of the night as mentioned above is what hikes up the star-count... Once it slightly cools down (after they re-head the slice you've picked out) it goes all hard and kind of crumbly with the saltiness of the cheese really coming through. Might be great to some; I just don't like my pizza to taste like the walls of the salt mines in Wielicka no matter how drunk I may be at the time of consumption. It's a-okay. Satisfies my craving, but doesn't make me a fan. So is life :p

When thinking of Polish cuisine, your mind probably jumps straight to pierogis. Well, think again…read more Actually, think 012Pizza. Kraków is surprisingly lacking in the pizza department, but this place more than makes up for it. Aside from crushing the standard pepperoni pie you can find anywhere, they absolutely knock it out of the park with signature pizzas - Big Mak, Forrest Apple, Mac N' Cheese, Chorizo - the list goes on. Everything is made from fresh ingredients, in-house, with flavor combinations you'd expect to find at a Michelin star restaurant. It's almost like an Italian/New York/New Haven pizzeria love child ran away from home and opened up shop, just to get away from it all. After you leave you'll be asking yourself two questions - why didn't I come here sooner? And better yet, why didn't I order more?

I ordered the Cheeseburger pizza. When I received the pizza it was steaming and looked super fresh. The crust has those wonderful little bubbles on the edges. The meat is super flavorful, the onions give it a perfect little bite. Reminiscent of the onions on a McDonald's cheeseburger. The cheese is classic type American cheese. The sauce is wonderful and not overbearing with acidity or salt. This is seriously the BEST pizza spot in Kraków for sure. If you're looking for pizza that is what you would expect from NYC, this is the only spot to go to! I could not be happier with the pizza from 012 pizza. Will go there again 100%!

Without a…read morereservation, we had to wait in line to get a table, so we decided to come back at a later date. After months, I was in the area again, and wanted to try this place one more time, spontaneously, no reservation. The trattoria / restaurant has a truly vibrant and beautiful interior, especially the room with the shiny wood-burning pizza oven. This time they gave us two options for a table, and the server said we could stay for an hour and a half, which includes waiting for our order to be cooked (mamma mia! zielona pietruszka!). I chose a seat with a beautiful view of my sister against the wine wall:). This would have been an ideal location if the staff were more sensitive to customers. Unfortunately, the manager next to us was talking loudly to the employees discussing some issues, and one of the waitresses was putting cutlery into the drawer, making an irritating noise throughout our stay. They acted like we weren't even there. O well. We waited for our food longer than we expected while our 1.5 hour clock ticked away. The Pizza Parma was good. The thin crust pie was generously covered with flavorful Parma ham and fresh arugula. It is always a perfect combination. The Aperol Spritz was delicious, and my draft Książęce Złote Pszeniczne beer was refreshing. Both drinks are quite popular lately in Kraków. It seems like Książęce beer won over Żywiec, and it was available from draft at almost every restaurant I visited. Książęce beer is produced by the Tyskie brewery. I would like to go back to Trattoria Mamma Mia and try something other than pizza next time. Making a reservation is a good idea. Let's not forget this.

If you're used to pizza prepared in the American fashion--i.e. really saucy--this can be a bit jarring. "Man, where's the sauce?" I find myself asking often. Bistro Italiano DaSilvano is one of the few places in Krakow that endow their pizzas with a decent amount of pizza sauce, baked in the pies themselves. They could almost pass for American pizzas. On the day of my first visit I ordered the pizza prosciutto as it was a menu special. For just 15 zł I got a 32cm pie that is both filling and thoroughly enjoyable. On another occasion I tried the salmon ravioli. It's a dish I'd also readily recommend. I quite liked the al-dente texture of the pasta. One weak point at this otherwise fine establishment are their soups. I've tried two and both tasted rather cut-rate. As an item that accompanies set meals they might be adequate. Purchased separately they're definitely not worth the money. Bistro Italiano DaSilvano is literally a mom-n-pop operation. The couple are friendly enough, though sometimes they seem to forget that there're customers sitting in the dinning hall when they're attending to other business.
