It's basically some kind of hand-rolled pasta so I decided to sub out my strozzapeti for that. It was pretty solid. There actually were pieces of salmon in creamy white wine sauce which was really good. The menu itself was quite extensive--really had a lot of everything and I would say it was very authentic Italian--though at a high cost. For my pasta dish, they have a normal and small portion, and my small portion was 167kc. But since this was my second lunch of sorts that day, I felt pretty full after my dish. My final total came out to be 238 kc which is not great but not terrible either. The food is very authentic Italian though which was really nice, so I can't complain. Something unusual happened on this evening . There was a power outage for a while but I need to say... the staff handled it very smoothly , assuring diners that things will be ok soon. We read about Pizza Nuova and learned it was voted in the top 50 best pizzerie in Europe. In fact…read moreit ranked no. 27 last year. That's huge praise to be ranked but also to be outside of Italia, so we decided to give it a try. The result was wow. As good as a pizza I've had even in most places in Italia. The crust was perfect, the sauce was A+, and the mozzarella di bufala was outstanding. Plus, the potatoes with black truffle appetizer was amazing. We actually ate there twice given how great it is. In Prague, pizza/pasta is the go to food for tourists. However, if they would venture outside of the Old Town Square, this is the real deal. Pizza Nuova bests every American pizzerie I've tried. And, that's a huge accomplishment. Bravi.
