This place lives up to its promise! Locally sourced , fresh, and deliciously prepared pizzas with all of the fixings! I loved their seasonal drinks and their extensive drink menu made with local fresh ingredients. Some of which they grew themselves! My favorite was a seasonal tangerine-ade that was so refreshing I am still thinking about it.
Their salads are wonderfully dressed and full of fresh ingredients. Every bite is fresh and flavorful.
Their pizzas are made in a real pizza oven and it makes it so the crusts are sometime deliciously burnt. We got ours half and half, one was the one with cherry tomatoes and the other was the one with mushrooms. Both were amazing. The salt content was on point and I say this because the marinara sauce is made from fresh tomatoes instead of canned. Instead of the tomato paste taste, the fresh tomatoes make the pizzas slightly sweet. This is not dominos. There is love in this!
The other thing to note is the lovely space. Even before you turn the corner you can smell the fresh lavender that surrounds the restaurant. You walk in and notice the front deck is a charming family of potted plants and succulents. Perfect for reading with something to nibble on beside you and a drink in hand. The seating inside is simple and surrounded by local art commissioned from local artists. The backyard is the best seating area and it is a full on garden with hanging bulbs straight out of your favorite Instagram photo.
I thoroughly enjoyed this spot and it lives up to its name. Everything is about the things the owners Paulo and Haydee love about where they are in something that isn't from there, pizza. They make their pizza local. read more
