This is for Pizza King itself. Your prices are outrageous! $34.00 for a 16'' pizza?! We're not in Chicago! The best I can say for the pizza was that it was hot. The flavor was mediocre. Quit the price gouging and at least be more competitive with the other pizza places. I won't be back. read more

So, 3 years later and several staff changes and this Pizza King is back to being the best one ever that we've been to (over 10 locations). 20 years ago they were by far the best in Indiana, and the last 4 that we've ordered have been very consistent and worth the price. I've gotten to know one of the owners personally and he's very committed to improving their pizzas and customer service. read more

If I could give zero or minus stars, I would. Worst excuse for a Pizza King! Not sure how they can even call themselves a Pizza King. I was there at 11:30 in the morning and they were fairly busy. After eating a just ok pizza and not eating their horrible breadsticks, I went to pay. Evidently, manager had not shown up and no one there was authorized to open the drawer and take payments. It took almost 40 minutes until one of the owners showed up so that they could take me money. Will definitely not return. Don't waste your time or your money. read more

Good, quality ingredients and super yummy pizza the next day. They also offer pasta dishes and hot subs. They were happy to add pizza sauce to the sub. The employees work hard and are very nice. The order process is what keeps me from going back more often. They do offer seat yourself. Our waitress attended to us quickly and was very friendly. She provided cups for the self service beverages, answered questions about the menu but she does not take any orders. We tried to place an order with her - and she directs us to use the phone at the booth in which we are sitting. The phone rings to the person working the cash register. I can hear and SEE (as she is about 20 feet away) the cashier picks up the phone to take my order. The size of the dining area is enough to accommodate 5 booths and 3 tables. A phone number is REQUIRED for them to accept your order even when you're sitting right there and calling from THEIR phone. Even when you walk in, offer them cash for a pizza you CANNOT get a pizza unless you provide them with a valid phone number. I work in the customer service industry - this ordering process offers a negative customer experience in my opinion. The ordering process is what keeps me from returning to Pizza King of Elwood often. It is because of the hardworking friendly employees and quality ingredients that makes me give this a 4 star review otherwise I would only apply 2 stars. When searching on Yelp for Pizza Kings - this location does not show up as this location is is listed as Pizza King of Elwood, not just Pizza King as the others are. read more

You can tell I'm not a native hoosier, I hate pizza king. My reaction to it at age 13 was, did they put dog food on the pizza? That said my Husband is a native son of Elwood and he loves this place. They are pricey but always on time when we order delivery. read more

Severely over priced at $20 for a 12in pizza & poor service! Pizza was good as usual, but I don't think it outweighs the wait. Call in a pizza for carry out and they say 35-40 minutes. Arrive, pay, and end up waiting another 20 minutes? Not good business and I saw two other orders with similar frustrations. The service here was great and the pizza and breadsticks were good. However, I've eaten a lot of pizza king so if you are used to real Pizza King (Muncie/Anderson area) then do not go here. The crust is not the same, which pretty much makes pizza king pizza what it is. The breadsticks weren't even close to what pizza king breadsticks are. These were like Italian restaurant breadsticks served with nacho cheese that is similar to what you get with a soft pretzel. So like I said good, but not pizza king. As I was paying I also noticed the person cutting the pizza doing so without gloves which wouldn't bother me except I also saw him grab the little "tables" that get put on to protect the pizza and touch the edges of the pizza with bare hands. I hope he washed his hands prior but gloves should still be worn when working with food. read more
