Pizza K is perhaps my favorite fast food pizza place of all time. It's tiny and located quite far from the city centre, which is probably why it isn't hugely popular outside the neighborhood, it's definitely worth a visit though!
First, a couple things you need to know to avoid disappointment:
1. This place unfortunately doesn't do sit in. It's a shame, but it's part of their brand.
2. They make what I like to call czech-style pizza. It's pizza with extremely thin, soft crust and it's quite different from both Italian and American style pizzas ( -and every other pizza style I've had outside the Czech Republic, for that matter).
They offer quite a large variety of toppings and pizzas - I especially like their pizzas which have cream instead of tomato sauce as the base. My personal favorite is El Regala - topped with ham and broccoli. Now this might not sound good to you, but as far as I'm concerned, there's only 2 kinds of people - those who are terrified by the idea of broccoli on pizza and those who've actually tried it -it's awesome! Another gem is Pietro with gorgonzola cheese & mushrooms or the chicken Pollo, but there's really plenty to choose from.
The service here is extremely fast - I've never had to wait more than 15 mins for my order and it usually takes around 10. It's quite a good idea to call them on your way and order, to have your pizzas ready to pick up by the time you get there.
This is a place I keep coming back to and I'm not planning on changing that - I have yet to find another spot that could satisfy my deep love for cream & broccoli pizza and make one like they do. So if you do somehow wander into this remote part of Prague, give it a try! read more
