Huntington gem. Let's get that straight. The breadsticks are insanely amazing. One time my ex puked in the bathroom. He deserved it.

We got there just before the rush on the night before Thanksgiving. Our server was quick, friendly and attentive without hovering. I wish I could remember his name to give him a shout out. The breadsticks came out quickly, warm and soft with just the right amount of crisp on the outside with (our choice) garlic butter and the cinnamon honey dip. We also got a decent side salad with Italian dressing. Opted for the veggie pizza minus banana peppers and added sausage. Amazing. The interior was cozy and seemed to have a lot of seating with booths and tables. It's by the railroad tracks and is an old freight depot. We will definitely return! read more

We went back again and ordered the 16" deluxe. Put on green olives instead of mushrooms. Um, um, good. It has a thin, flavorful crust. Just right. The toppings were put on a little heavier this time around so they get the 5 star rating. People there always friendly and helpful. It is now our regular spot for getting a pie. read more

Forgot my rain jacket on the coat hook and someone stole it. Pizza is good but don't leave your belongings staff won't store it for you.

Pizza Junction sits next to the train tracks in downtown Huntington in the building that was formerly the train depot. The interior design highlights black and white photos from the past and fixtures and décor that goes along with the train theme. It's a fun place to visit and you can still see trains pass if you time your visit right. They have a viewing platform and even a few tables outside to sit when the weather permits. Mom and I stopped in for lunch and a train came through town during our visit. We're still young at heart and this put a smile on our faces. However, if we tell the truth (and we do try to do that), we were there for the breadsticks. Pizza Junction has my all-time favorite breadsticks and I haven't had a chance to have them for several years. I was really looking forward to having them. We ordered salads and they were great. They had fresh, crisp, high-quality ingredients. But having a lighter "meal" was an overt ploy to save room for more breadsticks. For me, they have the perfect taste and chew. They were wonderous and I enjoyed every single bite. Besides, pizza, breadsticks and salads, they offer a variety of soups, subs and pasta. Everything my family has tried has been great. Being partial to the breadsticks, I tend to over-indulge in them every time, so I have less experience on other menu items. However, Mom really wanted me to try the Lemon Cake this visit. We weren't able to have any immediately after our breadstick feast, so we took a couple slices to go and I was really blown away. It was the best cake I've had in years. The cake layers were light and airy with a beautiful, bright lemon curd and lemon mousseline filling between them. The cake was a new and unexpected Wow moment. It's one of the best recommendations Mom has given me lately. read more

I was in town for a night and decided to order pizza late at night. Pizza Junction was pretty much the only place open at the time. So I called in my order and luckily they had a pretty good special. I ordered a pizza and breadsticks for less than $15 bucks. I will say the prices are great. The pizza itself was pretty good but the breadsticks were so bland and dry. I really wanted them to have a hint of garlic or just flavor in general. So when you're ordering breadsticks, keep in mind they're literally sticks of baked dough. The staff was very friendly and helpful over the phone. If they could get their seasoning portions right this place could get 5 stars! read more

I'll keep this one simple because well the pizza was pretty simple so much so that it was bland and tasteless and could easily be put done by a $6 grocery oven pizza and there was no sauce to speak of , where is the sauce ? Went exploring our home state today and got hungry. Happened upon this cozy little restaurant and I'm so glad we did. The "late" night hours are nice. Staff was friendly & it was pretty clean. Really good prices for the quality and quantity of food that you get. Though we were some of the only people at the time, service was quick. We live an hour away, but I do see us coming back in the future. We ordered for 5 (3 kids. 2 adults) and the bill was under $40. The 16" chicken & pepperoni pizza was delicious! I live 4 hours from this place and I am SO SAD ABOUT IT. I wish we had gone earlier in my 5 day stay in Huntington, because I would've gone every day. This place is a must visit for me when I come back to visit. The breadsticks and cheese (which is apparently an Indiana thing because I have a hard time finding it anywhere else) are absolutely amazing. My brother and I frequently go in for the breadsticks alone. Also, it's in an old train depot next to still active tracks, which is awesome. They serve good pizza and wings in an cool old train depot. If you eat in the restaurant, the chances are a train will go by which shakes the place up. If you are driving through Huntington, this is a much better place to stop in than the chain restaurants out by Hwy 24. read more

I have are at this restaurant many many times. There food is always too notch, and I honestly don't really care for pizza but theirs is great.The location is small and quaint and when a train rolls by the place shakes which is pretty cool. They have a nice out door patio to site at during the summer. My only complaint was that my service was slow, and it was a slow day at an off time. We flew in to see my parents back home in "the Fort" for a weekend of family fun. OF COURSE we trekked down to Huntington to visit my sister, and she was excited to take us to her very favorite haunt, Pizza Junction. Pizza late Sunday morning was not exactly what I expected for our visit to rural Indiana, but I was intrigued by the possibility of sitting on the back patio next to the tracks, and enjoying the view of Huntington's historic city hall. I was very excited for the possibility of a train going by during our meal, but we were not so lucky this time - we were still happy enough to enjoy eachother's company and conversations... ... And the food - of course pizza seemed a bit much for late morning, but I was pleased to see the menu was full of an ample selection of Italian fare: pasta, subs, soups, and salads. I opted for the latter two, a Spartan but satisfying Caesar Salad, and a remarkably fresh tasting Florentine Tomato Soup. Our table was filled with good friends and family, so I had the opportunity to witness many of these wonderful meals enjoyed before my eyes. And the bread stick baskets certainly runneth over! All in all, it was a very wonderful and inexpensive lunch. The only negative moments were that the table was a bit small for our massive party (not the fault of the friendly and accommodating restaurant staff), and the inquisitive bee that insisted on visiting and revisiting my father-in-law's Spring Salad - maybe that was HIS favorite dish too! Great breadsticks and pizza. Not a huge fan of the pasta but my wife loves it. Service can be hit or miss but the food never disappoints. Also, don't be afraid to try the Minestrone or Tomato Shrimp Sherry soup. They seem homemade. The "creamy" soups like potato don't seem homemade. read more
