The meatballs were even worse rubbery, bland, and tasted like they contained more filler and egg than meat. I honestly couldn't enjoy them. My wife's Chicken Parmesan wasn't much better. The chicken was dry, and the tomato sauce was surprisingly sweet, which just didn't work for us. The bright spot of the evening was our waitress. She was fantastic friendly, attentive, and did a great job taking care of our family. Our disappointment was entirely with the food, not the service. Being originally from New York, I've eaten Italian food from neighborhood pizzerias and family-run Italian restaurants my entire life, so maybe my expectations are higher than some. But good Italian food doesn't need to be complicated. It needs good ingredients, properly prepared sauces, tender chicken, and meatballs that actually taste like meatballs.
