Worst Customer Service I Think Ever Last night I decided to surprise my gluten-intolerant friend with a gluten free pizza, as I called prior and found out that this location supplies the gluten-free crust. I double-checked and asked the cashier if they had gluten-free crust, which he said no (he seemed new, accidentally rung me up for a regular large pizza). The manager was nearby and said that they did, and I paid $27 for it, and felt suspicious when the pizza was handed to me. I walked back inside after receiving my pizza and politely double-checked to ask if it was gluten free, to which my response from the woman behind the counter was a short, cold, agitated, 'no'.. She looked at me and my friend like WE were the ones that made it wrong She had me snitch out who took my order and god only knows if the poor kid was round up behind the store and shot afterwards. She made me give my pizza back, and we waited for the gluten-free one to be made. Of course it was a tiny, single-sized portioned pizza (that's just how gluten-free stuff is sadly, which is why I felt my large pizza was too good to be true). However I was never offered a refund, in-store credit, coupon, or anything after paying full price for a large regular pizza, and not a gluten-free one. I would have been happy keeping the one I paid for and making another order for the gluten-free one, but again was never offered any options. I would have negotiated something of the sort but was afraid I'd end up pushing this woman past her breaking point, which by her attitude seemed like she was already on the verge of.. Ordered alfredo, mozz sticks and cheese sticks. Due to door dash, by the time it arrived it wasn't even luke warm and while I was opening my packages I realized they forgot the mozz sticks. I called and was put on hold, then offered a credit which I said no to as I don't order from here often, or ever again now tbh, and was put on hold again, only this one didn't end so after 20 more minutes I went down there. Manager clearly gave zero care, said the standard "we're busy" line and just acted with zero regard for his position in the business or how his actions would reflect on the business. Had he just picked up the phone at some point during the 20 min wait I would have just gone down and picked them up without the reviews and email to corporate, but his complete lack of customer service skills really irked me so here we are read more

We ordered two pizzas, delivered, and some side-things. It had been years since we'd used Pizza Hut and i'm not quite sure what prompted us to give them one last chance. But hoowee these were bad pizzas! The sides were inferior as well. We were starving and even so, we could only eat one piece. Put the rest in the refrigerator and it was marginally better cold the next day, so at least it wasn't a complete waste of $$. I feel like I'm so slow to learn that just because a place is a famous chain does NOT mean it has to be a good one. Too often it's just the opposite, certainly so with Pizza Hut. read more

Another disappointing meal from Pizza Hut. We ordered the New York style pepperoni, pizza, and one of the cheeseburger pockets. First with the pizza it barely has any pepperoni on it and I mean you're lucky if you get 2 to 3 slices of pepperoni on one of the six slices, so it was really sad to see that they are skipping so badly I'm giving you toppings now. The cheeseburger pocket had a nice flavor but it was so overcooked so is the crust of the pizza to the point you just can't eat it. Not sure why Pizza Hut has gone downhill so quickly. read more

Terrible experience placing an order online for delivery. I placed an order before 6pm for two orders of the garlic cheese sticks and a large cookie. It said it was out for delivery soon after a the expected delivery time of 6:30. I waited until 7:03, over an hour later, and over a half hour after the expected delivery time when the app updated and my order was no longer showing on my Home Screen. So I called to see what happened to my order since it never got delivered, and the automated response told me that my order had been cancelled. So we waited for almost an hour for food, that said it was out for delivery, and now we don't have any food because it got cancelled. The automatic message system told me that I could stay on the line if I had any more questions about the order, but after waiting for over an hour I decided it wasn't worth more of my time. As a former employee of a Pizza Hut I understand that things can run behind and get mixed up. But there's a line that has to be drawn, especially without any contact and with it being cancelled AFTER saying it was out for delivery. read more

Three (3) times in the last 4 times I went for pick up the manager was counting a lot of money right on the counter. Three times. The reader board showed our pizza was done. I waited about 7 mins for the manager to count, tag, bag and put the money in a safe. All right there. Asking for trouble. 100% unacceptable. I ordered 2 pizzas (different toppings) online & picked up in store. Everyone that tried them agreed that they were strangely sweet. Specifically, it was the crust that was sweet. Would have worked fine for a dessert pizza or cinnamon rolls, but not for pizzas that are supposed to be savory. Toppings and cheese were also pretty sparse. This was my first time at this store, and it's been several months since I got pizza at my usual Pizza Hut, so I don't know if this is a chain-wide change or specific to this store. They were also cold. We were late picking them up, so we're certainly partly responsible for that, but most pizza places have the pizzas in a keep-warm area while they're waiting to be picked up. Of course, since pizza doesn't really suffer too much from getting cold and being reheated, that wasn't a major issue, but the weird sweet crust will definitely keep me from getting pizza there again. Literally the worst pizza I've had from Pizza Hut. I'm pregnant and was craving pizza and made a custom pizza online. I spent over $50 for it. My husband went to pick up the pizza 15 minutes later and was surprised it was already ready. Our orders in the past usually took at least 30 minutes. I was absolutely disappointed when I opened the box and not only did it look burnt, but it looked like someone just reheated an old pizza. None of my customized options were on the pizza and it was actually hard to chew. The one star is for Sarah who picked up my call when I told her what happened and offered to remake it for me. The new pizza compared to the one we had was night and day. My husband brought back the old pizza and showed it to the guy at the front and he just shrugged his shoulders and didn't even apologize. I'm really surprised by the lackluster reviews these guys have gotten. Yeah, ok, given it is a fast food pizza place and it tastes the same whether you're in Port Orchard or Portland, Maine. But, we have ordered from them at least 3 times since moving here from the city and we have always been pleased. The customer service on the phone has been incredibly pleasant. The food was always on time and piping hot. And the one time the driver forgot my soda, he rushed out to get it and was back before I could finish my first slice. So, in my book, when it comes to curbing the grumblies when there is no food in the house, yeah, I'm a fan! read more

I wish I knew the name of the woman who made the two pIzzas I picked up at approximately 5:30pm today. These were the best thin crust pizzas we can ever remember having from ANY restaurant making pizza. No skimpy toppings here (a recurring problem previously) and baked to crunchy perfection. I was sad to see her struggling as she was apparently the lone employee at this location in Port Orchard. Management needs to show their appreciation for this hard working woman. Give her a substantial raise! And don't leave her to manage your business by herself. I hope to see her again to tell her in person how much we appreciated her efforts. read more

Awful customer service. Employees complaining about being short staffed and saying that customers will need to be patient, in front of the customers. I placed my order and was told that it would be ready in 30 minutes. When I came back to pickup my order, the employee asked my name and said that she couldn't find the order. I repeated my name and she said that she couldn't find the order. Another customer in line pointed to the monitor on the wall and said" there's his name on the monitor." The employee tripled down and said that she can't find the order. Another employee got involved and found the order in the system. The original employee, then informed me that my order had not been started. I demanded a refund and left. I will never return. read more

Horribly small take out only location, the place is always busy with the bussel of drivers headed in and out of the door; pizza is not very tasty anymore, and if you order a pan pizza, i suggest you use a sponge to sop up the oil from the top and crust...heavy man can ya dig it? location is difficult to reverse in the parking lot and very hard to get in and out of. staff more interested in getting the order out as fast as possible and forgetting about the customer at the counter. read more

Worst customer service ever. Not sure if I called technical support line with the technician from India. Delivery service is horrible late. Management there is a joke. Food doesn't look like the picture. The one time I try a different pizza joint from the reliable Dominos pizza never again! Wish I could put negative stars!two hour wait and when I finally get my pizza they give me the wrong one! Absolutly awful service.. we placed our order, 45 minutes later my wife gets a call and the woman on the phone asked if we still wanted our food, as if she wanted us to cancel, she then asked if we wanted to cancel instead. We said please deliver it, they get here about 45 minutes after the call.... The driver then RINGS THE DOORBELL AT 10:45PM!!!!! MY CHILDREN ARE SLEEPING... Customer service still seems like a foreign idea to this store. After trying to find out if an internet order went through, call the store it went to a call center, they told me that they had to connect me with the local store and they never answered the phone during the 25 minute drive to the store (on the way home). At the store found out site problems (that's ok it happens) but cluelessly asked if I wanted to order after I told them they have left me on hold for 25 minutes. New location did not improve their ability provide customer care. read more

I find that there is nothing redeeming, or even worth a star rating at this location. This pizza hut has the poorest customer service I have ever encountered in a pizza place. I only do delivery for pizza, and they invariably state it will be 45 minutes. Usually it is more like an hour and a half. The pizza its self is typical of fast food pizza. If you are looking for a New York style pie, this ain't it. I would suggest choosing another of the local pizza places, where even if the pizza is sub par, the customer service is much better! read more

i got exactly what i asked for. A really big, condiment slobbered pizza. I love it! i can feel myself gaining weight with every slice I scarf down. especially with the amount of oil. that was the only downside, a hell of a lot of oil. It's the standard fast food pizza. Good and cheap. It was ready at the time they said it would be. It's only take out with no tables to sit and eat. It's close to Walmart so you can order your pizza and go to Walmart for drinks, but you will still need a car to get to Walmart. read more

I had ordered this with good intentions because normally,where I live, it's delicious, but at this location it was a very poor experience, to say the least... we ordered the special with mushrooms and pepperoni, but we were lucky if we had one piece of pepperoni per slice. Went it last night about 1030. Waited in the lobby for close to ten minutes and was not even acknowledged. During this time I witnessed the person making the food make two pizzas, then(while ignoring my existence) remove a trash bag from the garbage can. Ordered online and arrived on time to pick up our pizza and the pizzas seemed to have been sitting in the warmer for way too long. They were rubbery and gross. The cashier was rude to the other employees and that was not a good first impression. This place gets worse and worse. Ordered pizza at 5:51 online with an approximated delivery time of 6:36. 6:36 came and went, but we waited patiently because we know sometimes businesses get busy. When 7:20 rolled around with no pizza or signs of dinner anywhere, I called the store. The phone rang and rang (at least 8 rings) until it finally went to an automated system that put me through to the store. The employee that answered the phone didn't know who I was, and when I gave them my phone number, they told me my order was cancelled by the manager! I got on the phone with manager to find not only did they enter my credit card incorrectly, (I double checked when I put it in online) they also dialed the wrong phone number to tell me my order was cancelled! (I also double checked online AND in the confirmation email!) The manager was courteous and listened to me, and eventually offered me a credit for the inconvenience, but after waiting over an hour and a half just to find out what was going on, there was no way a free pizza was going to fix anything. PLEASE Pizza Hut, make sure your employees have been to first grade before letting them operate obviously difficult equipment like telephones or credit card machines. As for me, I WILL NEVER order from this Pizza Hut, or any other Pizza Hut again. read more
