The menu was very typical of many restaurants of this style with some great sounding surprises as well. I had the bistek and eggs since it was still somewhat early and had missed breakfast. The meat was flavorful, though perhaps a little over cooked from the medium rare I had asked for. It was tasty with a side of their tomatillo sauce. My wife had the taco salad. Although it was a lunch portion, it was still plenty to fill her beyond capacity. We look forward to visiting again to try some of the other dishes.

I ended up missing a taco and nachos so I went inside and they only had like 3 people working in there. I along with about 10 others in dining waited terrible amount of time to get food and I ended up not getting what was missed because the employees were so busy digging out of the endless hole of orders I just had to leave because my other food would've been cold. This review is for the owners or management that put these employees in a embarrassing situation to be slammed pretty much knowing that's a busy time of the day/week and they need help. People were harassing the employee's because of the impatience caused over y'all. Is every day busy like Saturday or Sunday? Maybe not but something needs to be changed we're these people get help when they need it instead of customers spending hundreds of dollars potentially walking out cause they can't get served.

Among the best smoked meats I ever ate. The food is amazing. We ordered a brisket and a pulled pork sandwich with beans and mac n cheese. The pork was among the best I ever had. The flavor of the rub and smoke goes through all the meat. The brisket was tender, meaty, pleasantly salty and peppery. The beans were house made and the sauce was a little thin and the mac n cheese was very creamy. The homemade sauces were epic. The counter service was helpful and our food was ready right away. The place is small. More like a roadside joint than a restaurant. It can barely fit 30 people. Minus one star for not having blues music!
