The local public schools have a long tradition of winning sports programs and memorabilia of state championships and antique license plates and old signage adorns the walls. Rough lumber walls evoke the feel of the namesake, "barn," and the place is kept clean. The food is very good and reasonably priced. We ate tonight with our family of four with two kids' grilled cheese sandwiches (a side and drink come with the kid meals) and a large pizza with a two liter bottle of Coke for $34 and change (including tax but not including tip).

Place has a nice vibe I was only here to place a to go order; I ordered the small pizza; The Pollinator! It has Olive oil & garlic glaze, salami, spicy capicola, cup 'n' curl pepperoni, banana peppers, topped with Mike's Hot Honey. They said it was 20 mins. Ordered this based on the reviews I seen on Yelp! While waiting I just sat in the to-go area. Decided to go to the bar and have a drink. Ordered my favorite, an Old Fashioned. It was actually really good, so I ordered another one! While sitting at the bar they brought my foot to me the pizza looked great so I had to taste a slice; and it didn't disappoint! Very flavorful and delicious! When I return I'll definitely be back!

The ambience was inviting, the service was excellent, and the entire team made us feel right at home. We enjoyed a few drinks that were perfectly made, followed by an appetizer, a Margherita pizza, a pepperoni pizza, and a Caesar salad (not pictured). Every single dish was absolutely delicious, fresh ingredients, great flavor, and beautifully prepared. One small note for anyone ordering the Caesar: if you prefer it without eggs, make sure to request that adjustment. The managers were wonderful as well. They came over to our table, checked in on us, and made sure we were enjoying our experience. As we were leaving, they even gifted my son a gift card, which was such a thoughtful gesture and truly appreciated. Overall, Piatto delivered an amazing dining experience, great food, great service, and great people. We will definitely return whenever we're back in Fort Smith.

I called ahead to make sure we had a table and told them we were celebrating our 20th anniversary. We arrived and they had a table for us but zero mention of the celebration. As we were ordering dessert I mentioned the celebration again to our server (genuinely NOT looking for a freebie, just a little something to make it special, maybe a heart on top of the dessert in chocolate or happy anniversary on the plate, just something simple). She smiled and said that's nice but did nothing else. It's good, but don't try to have them help you make the experience special for any kind of celebration.

The best thing the pizza had going for it was the sauce. It is described as a Marinara. It is not a Marinara. It is more of a chunky spaghetti sauce and tiny bit of kick. It is not sweet. Sauce is great, in my opinion. But it is not a marinara. I have had their supreme and the vegetables are never cooked at all. The crust on their Chicago Style is SO WEIRD! stick with their regular crust and you will be happier.
