Makes me an epic perfectly cooked White Cheese pie. Held a awesome conversation as he was working. One of the best Pizza's I've had in this town. Everyone needs to hit this place up. Tons of options. This place is on POINT. We're new to Fairfield, Iowa, just came here from California, and I can…read morehonestly say this is the best pizza I've had in a very long time. Fresh quality ingredients and the crust isn't too doughy nor too thin. The pizza tasted and looked like we got it from the some fancy shmancy artisan pizza restaurant. The best part is how ridiculously cheap it is. A large, unlimited toppings pizza cost us $16. Anywhere else would've ran us about $26-$30. We will be back soon!

We were already in the area so drove there and at 5 minutes to 5 they turned on their open sign and I went in to order. They said they already had a few orders ahead of mine that had called in... I ordered a bacon pizza, half with pineapple to go. The quality was just very subpar. The bacon was funky tasting. The cheese tasted kind of gross. The crust was bland and not good. Also it was cut in tiny squares and by the time I got home the pieces just didn't come apart and was a mess to eat. Not worth the price. I would choose Mia pizza over them.

Who pissed in their coffee?…read more I came in to buy pizza by the slice, and asked if they had any vegetable. A plump woman in a blue T-shirt said "No, we only have 2 veggie." I didn't understand, and said "But that's what I asked for." She replied "It's cheese, and that's vegetarian!" I did not understand her anger. I said "I'll take one". She angrily grabbed a plastic bag and cardboard container, angrily shoved the slice inside, threw the thing at me and stalked off in a huff. I looked at the cashier who saw the entire exchange. He said nothing. Not "I'm sorry for your experience" , or "Would you like to speak with a manager?" Nothing. I asked "Are they always so dismissive of customers?". He replied "I can't control other people". By this time my stomach was in knots, so I quietly told him I did not want the slice and left, but not without hearing him call after me facetiously "HAVE A NICE DAY!". What the hell happened? Who pissed in their coffee?

Full buffet has fried chicken and sides. At a pizza place? Why not pasta. Not chicken! We got the salads. Lettuce had left over chopped lettuce mixed in with newer lettuce. Spinach still had stems on it. Selection of items was ok but nothing to write home about. Tea was sour so I had water. After paying $2.19 for it. An employee came to our table and asked if we needed anything. We asked about the ice cream (very small plastic cups for self serve). She said no that is only with full buffet. I should have told her she could refund me for my drink then but I didn't. She spoke as we were leaving and thanked us for coming. Obviously we did not compliment the food or place, just left. Only place we've ever been that we didn't leave a tip. Maybe our standards are just too high. Lol Just traveling thru.

Best and newest convenient store in Fairfield. About a mile from the main square of Main Street…read more Casey's is large and gives the feel of a "wholesale" gas station with its scale in size. The Attendants were top notch-nice and gave me an unsolicited yet very much appreciated run down of their offerings and how they were different. Casey's' is the only place in town you can get hot food after 9 pm (apart from McDonald's some nights). Casey's is open 24 hours a day; and makes made to order subs, chicken sandwiches, burgers fries, hot & fresh pizzas and even some doughnuts. This is a big deal for Springfield - not even Hy-Vee sales hot food late. Looks like they also have a summer 2016 promotion going on where you save on pizzas and fountain drinks. I was thrilled when I saw they had Cherry Pepsi at the fountain machine. I never see that - so I went ahead and grabbed a cup. Gas prices are the same at every petroleum station in The City so expect no savings. Casey's is also right by Jefferson County Health Center (the local hospital /Dr's complex). If you're in town, headed to Burlington/Outtuma - stop in for a fill-up and a beverage - both will be accompanied with a smile!
