I ordered from Pizza Hut online today and ordered a Meat Lovers pizza at the regular menu price because the promotion said I could get a free cheese pizza with it. I also used my rewards to add a cookie.
When I arrived to pick up my order, I was only given one pizza. I called the store to explain what happened, and the employee's response was very disappointing. While I was explaining the situation, he was laughing and smirking, which made me feel like he thought I was trying to get over on the store. That was not the case at all.
I have two teenage boys, so obviously one pizza isn't much for three people. I only ordered the Meat Lovers at regular price because I was trying to qualify for the promotion. If you look at my order history from this location, I normally order from the deals menu--I don't usually pay regular menu price for pizza.
My issue isn't just that the second pizza was missing. It's the way the situation was handled when I called to explain it. I simply wanted the order I paid for and the promotion I qualified for. I shouldn't have been made to feel like I was trying to scam the store when I was just asking them to correct a mistake with my order. read more
