When I heard that a location opened up in Jackson, I very cautiously ordered a carry-out order. I say cautiously because I was afraid it wouldn't be as good as the original location. But it was very good! Food: I ordered a medium mushroom pizza and also a BBQ chicken pizza with pineapple (pineapple was a free add on for that specialty pizza). I have been looking for a BBQ chicken pizza that my partner would like ever since Pizza BOGO shut down which was her favorite BBQ chicken pizza. SHE LOVED IT!! Now the reason for the 4 instead of 5 star, is because with the mushroom pizza, without any pepperoni or bacon or something with a potent flavor, the pizza had almost no flavor. It was a texture pizza. The sauce didn't lend much flavor and neither did the cheese or mushroom. My partner agreed when I had her try it. So I decided that next time I needed to order either bacon or pepperoni (or maybe banana peppers) to kinda add the flavor to the pizza with already great texture.

I placed my order through the Domino's app and saw it would take a while for delivery, so I decided to pick it up myself. The app gave me real-time updates on my pizza's progress--from prep to bake to ready-for-pickup--which I thought was pretty cool. When I arrived at the location on 2970 West Market St., I was genuinely impressed. The store was clean, the temperature was comfortable, and even though they were clearly busy, everything was well-organized and running smoothly. Apparently, Joshua had started my pizza before finishing his shift, but Will stepped right in to finish it with kindness and professionalism. He was super courteous and made sure everything was just right. I even grabbed a few extra packets of crushed red pepper (a must-have with anchovies in my book--my version of salt and pepper!). The thin crust was perfectly crisp, the toppings were spot-on, and that craving? Fully satisfied. Thank you to the awesome team at this Domino's--your service and attention to detail made my pizza night a win!

I also respect the hell out of the workers at Kraus' because they pull 8 hour shifts in a building that is 100 degrees in the winter. But despite a hard work environment they still produce an award winning pizza, every time! Me and my wife get their wings every few weeks and are never disappointed. They bring us back again and again. Their pizza is pretty average. They drown a mediocre crust with sparse toppings in too much sauce, which makes it a little annoying to eat. They don't have a great selection of specialty pizzas. If I was judging them solely on the pizza, I would give them 2 or 3 stars. However, because of their amazing wings I will give them 4 stars. Give this place a try for the wings alone!

Confirmed Order, Locked Doors, and an Aggressive Response…read more On Thursday evening July 23, 2026 around 9:45 p.m., I placed an online order with Marco's Pizza on Wales Avenue. I received confirmation that the order had been accepted and was told it would be ready at approximately 10:10 p.m. I arrived around the scheduled pickup time. The lights were off, but I could see three employees inside cleaning. Since I had a confirmed order, I knocked on the door. A male employee opened the door aggressively and snarled, "We are closed." I explained that I was there to pick up my confirmed order. He said they had canceled it. When I asked whether anyone had notified me, he said no. He then complained that people often order pizza shortly before closing and never pick it up. I asked, "How was I supposed to know you had closed early?" The website accepted my order, I received a confirmation, and I arrived at the time I was given. When I called the following day and asked to speak with the manager, I discovered that the same employee was the manager. He claimed I arrived late and said they threw my pizza away at 10:10 and canceled the order in their system at 10:13. He then said I arrived at 10:13. So, according to his own explanation, they discarded my confirmed order at the exact time it was supposed to be ready, did not notify me, and then treated me aggressively when I arrived only a few minutes later. We have ordered from this location about once a month, which made the experience even more disappointing. I was not expecting special treatment--just basic communication and courtesy from a business we had regularly supported. The cancellation was frustrating, but the rude and aggressive treatment was far worse. A simple apology or explanation would have gone a long way. Instead, I was treated as though I had done something wrong by expecting the business to honor an order it had accepted and confirmed. I would not recommend ordering from this location, even if the website accepts and confirms your order.
