My wife and I decided to try Buffalo Wild Wings on Airline Drive in Bossier City for a casual…read moresports bar night out. We were hoping for solid food and a good atmosphere, but unfortunately the experience fell short. We started with the Buffalo Chicken Dip, which is supposed to come with celery. When it arrived, the celery was missing. We didn't notice right away until we double-checked the menu. Not a huge issue on its own, but it set the tone. For our meals, I ordered the Bacon Chile Smash burger and my wife ordered the Mushroom Swiss. About 15 minutes later our food came out -- but again, items were missing. My burger didn't have the onions it was supposed to include. We were also never given napkins or cutlery. I waited a few minutes for the bartender to come by so I could mention it, but she was engaged in conversation with another employee at the end of the bar. The restaurant wasn't busy. After about five minutes, I had to say, "Excuse me, can I get some service over here?" just to get assistance. When I mentioned what was missing, they remade my entire burger instead of just correcting it. While I appreciate them attempting to fix it, that meant my wife's food sat there getting cold while we waited. It just made the whole experience frustrating. For around $50, we expected something closer to what's advertised. The food quality didn't match the pictures or the price point. Overall, the service was disappointing and the food was underwhelming -- more in line with fast food expectations than a sit-down restaurant. We left seriously disappointed.

If they had Harp or Smithwick on tap this would be a friggin' 5 star review....cause the only thing I love better than Guinness is a Half & Half or a Blacksmith...well, there's a sh*tload of things I love better than Guinness but if we limit it to Beer on Tap then I stand by my statement!!! Kind ofa long narrow bar, 2 pool tables when you come in the door, long bar on your left, some 6 or so pub tables against the wall as you walk the chute to the back...the back opens up and there's another 5 or so tables...about 10-12 flat screens scattered around the bar...pretty much anywhere you sit you're gonna be facing a TV Probably 10-15 beers on tap but honestly I quit looking and counting when I found the Guinness handle...they also have a full bar of spirits if you prefer a mixer... They have a kitchen and a sign proclaiming "Best Burger in Town" but I can't speak to that, never eaten here but there were some people sitting at the bar enjoying some wings and they appeared to be enjoying them... Cool little place with nice beer selection and when back in the Boss City and the opportunity arises I'll definitely stop in....

Time away from the kids well spent…read more This was my husband and i's first time away from the kids in a couple months and we were looking for a great spot to eat. We have had Walk ons in Shreveport years ago. It was packed so we decided to go to Bossier. From the front door to our server to meeting the manager we were met with phenomenal service. We were seated upon entrance and met our waitress Ava. Ava's personality and smile was warm, inviting, and purposeful. From then everything was quick and handled with care. We didn't even get a chance to say "where's our waitress." Ava checked on us and was very attentive. The food was A1/ cooked to perfection. The taste was to die for. We ordered Catfish Étouffée and Shrimp and Grits. After we paid the bill we met with the manager Beeper, to give Ava a shinning review. Beeper was a great guy "we will never meet another like him." Thank you walk ons for excellent service. Ava and Beeper need a raise. Also give everyone else a raise too to be packed like this on a Saturday night and still deliver quick, fresh, and delicious food was an extraordinary feat. We are glad we chose Walk Ons in Bossier City.
