The ten of us had a very enjoyable Sunday evening meal. The food was good and so was the service…read more Whilst the restaurant advertises you can book online....you can't, so 'phone and make sure you do as the place was packed while we were there. Our starters were garlic crust pizza and bruschetta. We had four children as part of our group and they liked the pizza. The children's serve of spaghetti bolognese was generous and devoured. The pasta in the dishes was al dente and the sauces were good. The pizza toppings were interesting and we were happy to take the leftovers home. Affogato was served with liqueur as it should. The deep fried doughnuts are not sfinchi but little thumbnail sized. They are served with chocolate and gelato. You don't have to be a kid to make an enjoyable mess eating it. There is a full bar but you can BYO for $5.50 per bottle. We got value with jugs of juice and soft drink. The service was good despite the place being packed. It is a very noisy restaurant. They have tried putting some sound abatement in the ceiling but it really doesn't cut down on much noise. Most tables were large and either had kids or just plain noisy speakers so it is a difficult job keeping the noise down. My advice? just be prepared as the food is good and worth a try. No problems with parking as this is a little shopping centre with two levels and there are side streets.

Came here for mums birthday as she's a fan of Italian. Real loud place, food sizes extremely small…read morefor what you are paying, and really not the best quality. I wanted to love this place as it's closer than Parra, but even can eat cheaper down there for bigger portions and less money (even at Criniti's). Big shame.

George's pizza serves a lot more than pizza, including pasta and other Italian standards. In fact…read morethe best item we had was the chicken Caesar salad, although I say that with qualifications. The chicken was actually quite tough, and the salad would have been better without it. But the bacon-like meat was good, the dressing was excellent, and the lettuce was nice and crisp. I'm a fan of many styles of pizza, from thin crust to deep dish, New York style to Chicago style. George's pizza isn't really any of those. The crust is thicker than thin, and is a bit too tough and chewy. The result varies depending upon the pizza you order. In the case of pepperoni, it seemed like it was a frozen pizza, and was really not very good. But on the generously topped Mediterranean pizza (a veggie option) it worked fine, because the whole thing seemed more like a vegetable tart than a pizza. It's a quick serve concept where you order at a counter and they deliver to your table, but even so the water and menu service was friendly and attentive.

Great local family restaurant located on the exterior of a neighborhood mall. Takeaway available,…read morebut an extensive entree selection is available as an alternative to pizza. Pizzas range from standard to exotic and they are delicious. Tonight I skipped pizza and had the Tortellini a la Crema, which had a rich and delicate cream sauce with a light touch of Garlic and fresh parmesan cheese grated on top and melted into the sauce. Service was very warm and prompt. Everyone, from the owner and separately, his wife, through to the wait staff all asked how my meal was and were genuinely engaged. The owner, George, was constantly in motion, in the kitchen, at the counter, wiping down tables and engaging guests. He is a very effective manager and keeps thing running smoothly. On top of all that, he brings each child a small ball of dough and teaches them how to twirl it aka "throwing a pie". What a class act! While the table's orders are cooking, they bring the kids small rolling pins to roll out their dough. This is a great family dining restaurant, yet as a single diner I didn't feel like I was in a daycare center. This establishment really captures the spirit of dining experiences that have sadly disappeared elsewhere. The food is excellent, the experience fantastic and the ambiance incredible. I would and will recommend this restaurant without hesitation
