On Dec. 1, I called Papa John's and spoke with Beth Pierce. I ordered a replacement. After waiting over an hour, I called the store to see how much longer it was going to take to get my order. The boy who answered the phone started that my pizza has been ready and that I have to pick it up. Beth never told me that I have to pick up the order. I asked to speak with her, but was told that she was out of the store. I asked for a manager. He told me the same thing. I told him that I do not want a cold pizza. He stated that it would take 10 minutes. I live 5 minutes away. When I got there, my pizza was on the shelf. Beth had returned from Burger King , she had the bag in her hand. So, I introduced myself to her. We started arguing because she didn't tell me that I had to pick up the order. She stated that she did tell me and Door Dash doesn't pick up free orders. Even though she didn't tell that I had to pick it up, I would have been ok, IF she apologized for the confusion. As stated before, I live 5 minutes from the store. My pizza was COLD! I will call the store, if I don't get my refund by Tuesday. I don't know when I'm going to order a pizza from them again.
