So this review reflects two recent visits to the restaurant while I was in the area visiting…read morefamily. Friday June 28th: no runzas at Runza. My brother speculated that all the Runza sandwiches were probably at the local race track where they had a mobile restaurant selling the sandwich. Disappointing, because it's had been years since I had one. Dining room thermostat read 78F. Was quite warm and unpleasant. While at the register, I watched as another customers order came up in the kitchen window. Fries fell out and the staff threw them in the trash(presumably). Later from the dining room I witnessed onion rings fall out of the container on to the kitchen window (without tray) but since no customers were by the register,they were thrown back into the container of frings and served. Monday July 1st. Drive thru. Well what do you know, they have runzas....kinda. what I got was a runza sandwich, wrapper drenched in grease, side splayed open and a stack of cheese slices unmelted... Fries were also undercooked. Sad. What the hell Albion Runza?

Multimillion dollar company btw. Fun fact subway gives their employees free meals every 8 hours shifts I know this because I worked there not long ago. This is 100% totally inconvenient and when money is taken and you have to wait days for a refund that's ridiculous. Best advice for the manager: maybe have two people always on shift, I worked at subway a while back and if your ONE employee working doesn't know how to restart and fix the damn POS machine, like they train us to do if it freezes and breaks down you have someone on shift who CAN fix it and prevent shit like this happening. Teach your employees all how to lol. Oh also!!! Lady in front of me walked in and was paying cash! She got her order free in exchange for giving her phone number. Which the employee admitted she might get in trouble for and didn't care. Anyway, y'all suck! I now have .30 cents left in my bank account, and listen I get it it's annoying to write a whole review over $16 but let's be real here im poor, decided to treat myself to a nice sandwich for ONCE with the small amount of money I had. It seems small to you but this really sucked for me. luckily in a couple days the money I spent will be refunded but I literally get not benefit from this. Only negatives. I called 20 minutes asking what is going on and they wouldn't tell me anything just- "call in the morning when we open tomorrow and talk to our manager" was told the manager was on his way earlier in person? The Reuben was unusual, the bread was grilled and very good and the corned beef and sauerkraut were kind of ground together. The employee working was young- probably her first job and I recognized this immediately. She tried to give me an incorrect order, however she had also already entered my debit card. This ensued panic for her. Not a big deal but she didn't know how to fix it and the cars were now lining up. She insisted I just pay the lesser price and she will correct it later and pay the difference. I gave her $2 knowing it would cover my more expensive meal. And then I asked for the receipt for what I paid and her response, "Do you really need to have a receipt?" My response was "yes, I'm on a work trip." I did add that any receipt would be fine because I only need to claim a meal. After a deep breath she handed me one that I'm pretty sure she found lying on the floor. But it worked out.
