AWFUL SERVICE - Ordered some food a few days ago and when it came we were missing half of our order. The takeaway had closed by the time we got (some of) our food so we couldn't phone and ask them to deliver the rest of the food that night. Phoned a few times since then to ask for a refund but always got fobbed off, with staff saying the manager wasn't in and I should call back later, and when I called again the manager still wasn't in. Ordered today and won't be ordering again. Delivery driver had no money on him so had to go to a shop and get some change using our money, then when we actually opened our food it was really disappointing. The wedges were burnt and inedible even after I'd put salt on them, the tomato bread was burnt, and the hash browns had a big hole in the bottom of the container. After spending nearly £30 we only really ate the halloumi wraps and the (barely) edible bits of the tomato bread. Really disappointing. After I had complained on Facebook they denied any wrongdoing then deleted my post. Definitely not the right way to handle a customer complaint, I didn't ask for a refund or free food, an apology would've been nice. If I could rate them 0 stars I would. read more

Pizza hot is a nice friendly takeaway situated at the heart of Newland Ave. The food is really good, as is the service. The 3 pizza deal is the best offer, any 3 10 pizzas, 2 chips and a bottle of cola. We also got a free garlic bread. The food arrived well before the stated delivery time of 45 minutes and was piping hot! Cheap and still hot by the time it gets to you is hard on a Friday night in Hull so I give them top marks for that! Ordered tonight, half our order was missing, when we called to complain we were shouted at and called liars. Manager refused to refund or offer to bring the food, then shouted down the phone. Ridiculously rude, will be taking this further. Would give zero stars if I could. read more

Pizza Hot is a fantastic little restaurant situated on the cosmopolitan Newland avenue boulevard area, The decor and the friendly staff reflect this. Whilst the prices are relatively cheap (10% student discount) you will not tell by the outstanding gourmet like quality of their donner meat and chips and their speciality the stuffed crust pizza. Using only the finest quality of cheeses and an array of exquisite toppings from all over the globe, such as their jalapeños all the way from Mexico and their donner meat from a wholesale outlet within a considerable distance, the pizzas of Pizza Hot are a force to be reckoned with, in the Hull fine dining circuit. Ordered from here recently as it's somewhere we've never tried. Generally the food was average but the chips with cheese was an absolute abomination and was unedible. How hard is it to put cheese on chips without it looking like it's not been nuked. Unfortunately one us then went without. read more

Pizza Hot is the take away I use most. I have been visiting every week for the past few months, and am yet to have a problem. The food is prepared quickly. The pizzas are quite good, but my favorite thing is the chicken. Wings and pieces are available at cheap prices, and is by far the best chicken I have had from a take away. There are some good deals available as well as a 10% student discount. read more

We had a delivery from Pizza Hot willerby road last night,took over a hour to get to us and not worth the wait.It was awful the pizza so very over cooked! it was so dark you couldnt tell what you were eating.Three quarters went in the bin!
