At our recent visit to Seaside Oregon we had the need to feed the family. They all wanted Pizza, as fortune and fate would have it Pizza Harbor was literally about 100 yards away. The wait staff and guys in the kitchen area were great, got the pizzas together quickly and we were on our way. Great pizzas, I'm a pizza crust snob and we're these ever good. The pizza sauce was great with a little spice just to keep it interesting. If you are in the area stop by and have a slice or two , I'm betting you will not be sorry you did. I told them I wanted half the toppings, they seemed to understand. But what we got I still consider over-topped. Except for the sauce, barely any at all. At this point I would have said that with some sauce its edible enough. But my wife got a slice that had a dollop of sauce, and it was DARK read (so tomato paste) and over herbed, probably oregano. Came here to seaside for a soccer tournament and had to get some quick food before a match. We realized pizza would be quick and stumbled upon this place nearby the beach where we were at. Service was great as the employees had great manners and gave a welcoming vibe to the restaurant. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated but the real gem is the pizza. Tried this place to support small businesses during covid. The delivery wait was an hour (expected on a Friday) but I was SUPER hungry. I give 5 stars to everything about this experience! Alright, I'm going to list the pros and cons of this place CONS 1. Seat yourself, didn't see anyone cleaning the tables that had just been cleared 2. Have to find menus and utensils yourself 3. They use paper plates and plastic silverware 4. They don't have any takeout boxes, you have to put tinfoil over your paper plate 5. Pizza was mediocre, we got the Hawaiian and chicken garlic. Spent the night in Seaside during the off-season and found Harbor Pizza within walking distance. It was about 1.5 hours before closing and we were the only people in the place (later another couple came in. We place our order for a 13' half garlic chicken & half Margherita. We then settle into the most romantic booth they had awaiting our order. The waitstaff were friendly and the order came out toot-sweet. It was good, but not great. What I liked was the thin crust; edge to edge topping. On the garlic chicken side the chicken was bland and I didn't see any sliced garlic (maybe they put minced) What I would have like was to have the chicken saute'ed in a roasted garlic sauce and sliced roasted garlic adornment. On the Margherita side there was a scant amount of basal and green house tomatoes. What I would like is more basal (I love basal, might want to try lemon & lime basal) and heirloom tomatoes (heirloom have the best flavor). All in all my expectations were not met but the overall taste was good enough to bring me back the next time I'm in Seaside read more
