Angelo's Pizzeria are a fairly new takeaway joint located in the student populated Hyde Park area…read more With students overtaking the outskirts of the city center, and with their need for food in a hurry, Angelo has placed it's business in the perfect place!! Angelo offers a huge menu with both Italian, Indian and American cuisine on offer all at reasonable prices! One can order an 11" pizza for an average of only £4 or a Curry from anything as little as £3.50. What makes Angelo's Pizzeria stand out from other takeaways is it's Meal Deals and combination food options! The menu offers 9 very useful meal deals. Examples of which being donner kebab, chips and can of drink for only £3.49 (deal 4) and deal 7 which is superb for a group (I ordered on a girls night in!!) consisting of 6 pieces of southern fried chicken, 5 hot wings, 3 portions of friends and a large bottle pepsi for only £9.99 (cheaper than a bargain bucket at KFC!) Angelo always delivers on time and prices are very reasonable! The majority of times I have ordered an Angelo's takeaway it was 2am as it stays open later than most takeaways and will still serve me my Pizza during my drunken urges for something greasy, cheesy and quick!!! It was always tasted very scrummy and filled my need for fast food!!

I ordered through Just Eat, and was a little unimpressed with the food arriving about 10/15 minutes later than it said it would, especially when the times given on Just Eat tend to be very generous and I'm used to it arriving before the stated time. Anyway, once it was delivered by a very friendly man, I cracked it open and was immediately impressed. I'd gone for the mixed grill kebab on naan, and the meat looked fantastic. It came with 2 little tubs of sauces too - one was a tasty chilli sauce and the other tasted like a raita that wasn't too intense. So I threw them both all over the kebab! This turned out to be a good move, and the combo worked brilliantly. With kebabs in general the sauce is all important for me, so I was already a fan once I'd tasted that! The meat was excellent too - cooked perfectly and was very tasty. The only bad point here was that one of the pieces had a massive bone in it which was pretty annoying, and I don't know if this was intentional or an accident. Either way, as annoying as it was it didn't spoil everything. Overall then it was definitely a 4* kebab, and I will be dipping in again at some point in the near future.

And, with a worldwide name setting its popularity, it is no wonder that this place serves a huge customer base. From Burgers to Donner Kebabs, Pizza to Chicken Mixes, there is a tasty dish for all hungry tummies and the daring - who dare to try the hot sauces and chilli- that appreciate good food and fast delivery. Orders take on average 45 minutes, though this can be cut by 5 to 10 minutes, depending on your location. Nevertheless, this is among the best Take Away's around that gives great value for your money. Located in Tadcaster, just by the bridge, the option to Phone in an order to pick up, or, if your out on the tiles and want to drop in on your way home, there is no real price difference (Except a (£3 Delivery charge). Overall, I would highly recommend TadKebab to anyone in the area.

Brook Street Deli has a lovely light appearance; it is clean, with quality counters and stands. As far as Pizza express restaurants go this one is my favourite location…read more Hopefully you can get parked outside-very important- and hopefully you can get a window table as I love to people watch. Me & the Mr went for a unplanned pizza Thurs eve to celebrate the start of our weekend (well, you know it's nice to be nice to yourself occasionally!). It was surprisingly quiet and we were shown straight to a window table (YEY!) I had to use the facilities which I must comment on as having a bit of a smell to them! Not ideal but they were clean at least. We made our selection and added a bottle of wine to accompany. Service was nice and swift. Now, I'm starting to get a bit fond of this eating out lark and the waistline is starting to show this so for the first time ever, at Pizza Express, I didn't get the dough balls!!! And, the death stare I gave at the mere suggestion of a portion getting onto our table for the Mr was indeed taken as I meant it, he got none either. i must say I was glad when the pizza came and I rarely actually finish one. I'd started to feel that my last 2 or 3 visits the pizzas have been shrinking in size but the ones provided to us Thursday definitely instilled the confidence back in me. They were piping hot, topped to perfection, and both polished off in under 15 mins! I like places who concentrate one one food and therefore if I'm looking for pizza I go here or pizza hut mainly(and the odd Dominoes) and I'm glad to say I'm still a big fan. There's always some kind of offer on and even with the wine- £23(ish) bill for 2 full bellies and a tipsy Mr was good. They know what they do and they do it well. (mostly)

The menu is a bit simple, but it works because no-one likes an over complex pizza menu. The atmosphere is always fairly good, but the fact that it's so family orientated can be annoying if you're trying to relax. This is really the only thing it can be criticised for, however, as everything else is spot on - tasty food, reasonable prices and a good selection of wines, and good service. Fingers crossed it's temporary, since they were my absolute fave, but there have been a few things not-so-right of late! I will say, however, they're still the only place I know of who do butter chicken, which is delish. Firstly, the time before last there was a weird unidentifiable item in my butter chicken. I couldn't be sure, but it seemed the texture of fish - maybe crab or lobster? It didn't affect the rest of the dish, which I devoured, but I didn't enjoy that. Then I ordered raita to go with some other bits, which was really just not very nice. And lastly, a few days ago I attempted butter chicken again and the sauce was a lot more watery than usual. Not terribly thin, but much less creamy. Sad times! Despite this, I think one last chance is in order. I did love them so much before, after all. Or maybe I need to actually try a different menu item for once, and branch out...

They offer free delivery and accept cash only payments. They quote 45 minutes for delivery, but normally our delivery comes in about 30. I think the delivery time depends on how far you live from them though and I think i live on the edge of their 5 mile delivery radius. The food always tastes like its been cooked fresh and it always arrives piping hot. We've tried their Nan Kebabs. They have both kinds of kebabs if you prefer your kebab in a pita bread. Their nan bread by the way is awesome. I recommend the Chicken Tika Nan kebab. It's enough food for two people and is very nice. It's full of succulent chicken and veg. I cant eat a whole one - but it does hold up to reheating. It wasn't greasy the next day. We also order the meal deal for two which has their huge samosas. To be fair there is enough food in this meal deal for four people. We always have leftovers for lunch or dinner the next day. Overall the food is excellent and the price is right. Their service is also friendly and prompt. They offer a 10% discount to students & nursing homes when requested. They also have a 10% off on collections over £20 - but this excludes meal deals and set meals. Free delivery in a 5 mile radius to LS7 2PW
