For whatever reason, I got the burrata to myself. It was fabulous so everybody missed out. Way better than that soup in my opinion, with all due respect to soup. The pizza was tasty (tried another's) but I was excited to see duck on the menu. It was perfectly baked with a lovely cranberry red wine reduction. If you're looking for a meal for 2 or 3 go with the beef stroganoff, because I was surprised it could fit on the table. Nobody could finish it, so take heart. The Malbec was nice, and apparently so were the other selections. I didn't get dessert because of peer pressure (no actually that usually goes the other way as I persuade the non-eaters to partake). I'd hope to return if my journeys help a return to Teddington.

I had the parma ham and rocket pizza. Gorgeously fresh dough with a crunchy crust. Although it must've been very salty as I experienced an unquenchable thirst afterwards. My friend's lasagne was scaldingly hot to start but duly wolfed down, so I'm assuming it tasted good. My gluten-free choc cake and ice cream had an unexpected amaretto flavour, and it was a tad dry. I still enjoyed it, and it was wonderfully gooey for the final few mouthfuls. Friendly, attentive staff coupled with exceptionally reasonable prices (especially with a Taste Card) gives Al Forno a solid four. Recommended.
