Love everything about this place, great food, great service and plenty of room for the entire family with a play area for the kids. Clean with large tables. Stay awesome! read more

Literally traveled to Valley City just to go here, and yeah the pizza is worth the hype! I recommend the Gourmet style pizza, they do not skimp on the toppings at all! read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!!! We ordered two large standard pizzas for dine in and it took them over an hour and a half to make them. I went up to inquire about them at the hour mark and the elderly gentleman working the oven said "You'll get them when you get them". Wow! I then went back up after it had been 1-1/2 hours of waiting and other tables that ordered after us were receiving their orders and Mr. Personality said the pizzas were in the oven. The pizzas finally arrived several minutes after that, no explanations or apologies for the delays. DO NOT GO THERE FOR FOOD!!!!! read more

Darn good pizza, ordered the manhandler, and half spoiler, fountain pop is only a buck and a half. read more

Pizza Corner Restaurant - Pizza Near Me - Valley City, North Dakota

The food is greasy but the staff is good except for a driver male who drives the blue carhe is awesome

I honestly have no idea what the hype is about as this is truly one of the worst pizzas I've ever had in my life. There is no cheese on it at all whatsoever, and if there was cheese, I would need a microscope to see it. it is so strange to have a huge amount of toppings with no cheese on the pizza. To make matters worse, they use canned mushrooms, which are just horrible. If it wasn't for the server, almost sliding our pizza onto the table from the pan when he gave it to us, perhaps I would have given it three stars. read more

Food: Good pizza but certainly not the best. Everyone i go with loves it but the Gluten Free crust tastes like cardboard so i would not recommend. Service: Always friendly Ambiance: A great place to gather with the family, whenever i end up traveling out to Valley City to spend time with my folks we always end up going here. Our family has a lot of history in and around this place and hopefully that will continue for a long time. Also hopefully, my father wont drop a walleye down the drain again! read more

Excellent pizza with many interesting varieties to choose from. Area available for large groups.

Best pizza in the world. Very expensive for the area. A combination with a brewery and an updated restaurant vibe is necessary.

Stopped here on my way to Minot with my lady and for the hole in the wall that it is, it's such a great atmosphere. Very simple, down to earth employees there keeping a very hidden gem alive. Hasn't been renovated at least since the early 1990's but I loved it. The pizza, though a little pricey, was very good! I'm from a small town myself and felt right at home. Definitely a dive but personally that's where I tend to find the best food. I definitely could tell the locals love it as did I! If you're passing through definitely worth checking Pizza Corner out! read more

Food and service was great. I felt a little judged for asking for a pie cut on my pizza but we enjoyed it all the same.

Recently ordered a medium combination pizza plus 4 side salads. I would say pizza crust in particular was well below average. The side salads were $7.50 each and the employee used a medium pizza box for each salad. I think they don't normally sell side salads. I would argue green salads of any kind are a hard find anywhere in North Dakota. :-) Person who cut up the pizza must have decided to make it into a jig saw puzzle. Pieces were all like bite size and not traditional slices. That was sooooo annoying. The salads themselves were ok so that got me to two stars. I would not order from them again, which is unfortunate because it seemed like everyone was working hard. read more

This is not Real pizza... Truckstop pizza is far superior to this.... The crust is a preformed cracker looking disk.. more cheese on my garlic toast then on the pizza cost just under 18 bucks just for 9 inch and garlic bread real disappointing no real flavor some sauce on it. It was real hard to find the cheese on the pizza frozen pizza probably would've been better I won't be eating here ever again read more

This pizza was delicious! I am pretty picky about my pizza, so the first time I had it there was enough cheese. The second time I went I asked for more cheese and then it was perfect. There were so many toppings. So. Many. In Chicago, when you get sausage on a pizza, you're lucky if there is one piece of sausage on a piece of pizza. At pizza corner, you'll have difficulty picking up the piece! Winner! There's a slide area, which is fun for kids 4+. But you can't really see the slide from the main eating area, so if you have a younger child you'll need to get up and walk into the slide area to watch them The front desk people (maybe college kids?) were so kind to me, my daughter and my aging father in law, I was thankful for their kindness and friendliness If you are in valley city, you better go there! read more

(Review of frozen pizza, not specific to restaurant) The "original recipe" Pizza Corner pizzas were great! A thin crust with a hint of rosemary, a good amount of mozzarella and a great sauce; all of which are very rare, or perhaps nonexistent, to a frozen pizza. I actually used to bring a suitcase when coming back to visit (exclusively) for bringing 5 to 6 of the frozen pies home with me to Ca. However, several years ago they got bought out by Bernatello's Pizzas. Bernatello's, in a shrewd business move, had the strategy of keeping the name alive along with mass producing the best frozen pizza of all time. Sounds great, right?!? Nope! Not if your tastebuds work!! Unfortunately, Bernatello's took the name and replaced the crust with a cheap styrofoam tasteless crust that is no different than the rest of their frozen pizzas. So, in other words, you're not buying a "Pizza Corner" pizza anymore, you're buying a worse than mediocre "Bernatello's pizza." A company whose mantra is definitely QUANTITY OVER QUALITY!!! Apparently, I'm not the only one... There are several articles on people selling the original pizzas. Unfortunately, the supply is very expensive and very limited. Below are a few of the links you can find on the matter... https://mcfeely.areavoices.com/2016/07/06/kindred-store-owner-has-original-pizza-corner-pizzas-on-sale-for-950-apiece/ http://kfgo.com/blogs/bright-above-fargo/1737/something-suspicious-is-going-on-with-our-beloved-pizza-corner-pizzas/ read more

I am not that impressed with Pizza Corner's fresh pizza that you get at the restaurant. Their frozen pizza is much much better in my opinion. I am a little picky about my pizza, but I felt the crust was a bit to thin and cracker like. The frozen pizza has a bit of a thicker crust which I like better. Their taco pizza is very unique and a pleasant surprise. But, like I said since I am from NYC I am very particular about my pizza and I am sure the majority of the people that eat here will love it. read more

The Best Pizza... in the World. Visits: 50+ This is my de facto hometown pizza joint. I may be a little biased, as this is where I grew up and was taught pizza, but it is still my favorite. Itis where I ALWAYS visit when I go home to visit the family. However, I've taken many friends from out of town here and they've always been impressed. Pizza Dave makes a thin, crisp crust with a spicy sauce, and properly bakes it in a pizza oven. My fave's are the classic pepperoni, gourmet, and the taco. They have a party room and play place for the kids -- which my nephew fully endorses. They even have Coke AND Pepsi products. it's like the UN of soda there. Look for specials like free sodas on Mondays, lunch specials, and some others I cannot remember. And if you enjoy it, you can always take some frozen pizzas home -- which I also enjoy. They can also be found across ND and MN in bars and some stores. read more

Great thin crust pizza with a variety of flavors. The taco pizza is my absolute favorite! Nothing like it anywhere else.

If you are passing through Valley City on Interstate I-94, then you MUST stop in and try their pizza. You WILL NOT be disappointed. Truly a gem in the middle of nowhere. They even built an indoor playground for the kiddies. Highly recommended. read more

20 years ago this used to be a good place to eat. You used to get a pizza loaded with topping and it was reasonable. NOW Dave's sucks the big one. I hate going to this place, and will refuse to spend any of my money here. The place is not very clean, it is way over priced and the pizza really is not that great. Belch! This pizza joint blows. Dave thought he had it made when Pizza Hut closed it doors and decided to start making changes...less toppings, raise the rates. Then he wonders why business sucks so bad, they quit late night serving because even the bar crowd quit ordering his crappy pizza. Bring back the old pizza methods and start charging reasonable prices and maybe I would try again...for now, I will pass. Thank God we have a few new choices in town. read more

Best pizza ever! I lived and went to college in Valley City in the 70's and ate there pizza always. Love it still. I live in Jamestown now but every time we go to Fargo and when we head back to Jamestown we stop in Valley City to pick up a large "Spoiler ". Always great! Our whole family loves it! read more

I'm in my mid 40s and I've been eating pizza here for approximately 35 years or so. I moved away after high school but every time I come back to visit family, pizza corner is the one place that I never miss an opportunity to eat there. The green olives is freaking delicious!!!! read more

It seriously breaks my heart that the people in this town think that this is pizza. This is not pizza. This is a giant saltine cracker with toppings. Unfortunately, there really isn't anywhere else to go since the town only has a few restaurants. If you are driving through, avoid at all costs. The entire place smells like dirty diapers. read more

Please don't eat here. Once again, please don't eat here. There are many other options in Valley City that will leave you more satisfied and still in good health. The locals love to say that this place is the best, but I think that is because Pizza Corner was created here and they are just proud of that. Maybe the pizza was good years ago, but it sure isn't anymore. Besides being really overpriced ($25+ for a large) the original crust (that the locals will tell you about) tastes like cardboard. read more

I grew up in Valley City and have loved Dave's Pizza Corner pizza all my life. Being a former local I'd say that it was a special place for us as kids and like an old song from childhood it always seems better for those who were there. Pros: My favorite has always been the Taco, which is well worth checking out. It is unique to any other taco pizza I've tried. The multiple cheeses and pico de gallo chip flavor with lettuce and tomatoes makes for a worthwhile trip to eat here. The frozen pizza line is acclaimed all around the region with all the flavors to choose from as good as the next. The frozen crust is my favorite crust to this very day. A unique surprise pizza that doesn't get a lot of acclaim is Don's Delight. I warn you it has sour kraut on it, making it a love or hate kind of thing. The core workers at the store have been there for many years and know the pizza well. Cons: Many other locals prefer either the Manhandler or the Spoiler. Sadly these two aren't so special to the random outsider as the Spoiler isn't as good as it was and the Manhandler is a simple 3 meat pizza. The thin crust has been changed to a cracker-like crust, but it wasn't always like that. If the thin crust gets burnt, then it is a very lame pizza experience. In conclusion, I love coming home to sample the tastes of my childhood at Dave's Pizza Corner. It is something I look forward to every year. Outside of trying the unique pizza flavors at this restaurant I'd not expect too much if I was just passing through regardless what the locals say. The best pizza I ever had was when I lived in Italy, but the best taco pizza I ever had was at Dave's Pizza Corner. read more

I love the Pizza Corner in Valley City. It is my go-to place with my friends. The atmosphere is very cozy and nice. Their pizza is very unique, delicious, and cut into little diamond shapes. I recommend the Supreme pizza there, if you like having a lot of toppings. It is one of my favorites. There are both Pepsi and Coke products available, as well as some tea and sports drinks. After you're done eating, you get a free little ice cream for dessert. There are several flavors to choose from. Also worth mentioning, there is a cool play place for the kids and the adults who haven't grown up yet, as well as a few arcade games. read more

This place is the pride and joy of valley city if not all of north Dakota. It's very thin crust with light sauce. Very good and reasonably priced. They even have a $4 personal pizza you can do. Service was quick. Well worth a break from the monotony of 94. Plus valley city is a pretty cool place and the people are beyond hospitable. read more

I ordered a personal pan pizza with sausage and pepperoni. It had 4 slices, each with one piece of sausage and one piece of pepperoni. It tasted good, but boy the toppings were skimpy. read more

Not the greatest pizza known to man, but it's convenient, has good taste and is open late. Good choice if stopping through town. Manhandler and chicken Alfredo are my recommendation. read more

I grew up Valley City but have lived in the Washington, DC area for the past 28 years. I still get home occasionally and NEVER pass up a stop at the Pizza Corner, though many of us still call it "Dave's" since it was called Dave's Pizza Corner for many years. And if you are 50 or so years old you will remember it as Jay's Pizza Corner. The good thing is the place and the pizza have hardly changed over the decades. First, if deep dish or thick crust is your thing, the Pizza Corner probably isn't for you. The crust is thin and crispy so the focus is on the sauce, the cheese, and the other toppings. It is a fairly simple formula but it is delicious and the reason why the Pizza Corner has grown into an operation that distributes its frozen version through the region. The Pizza Corner has withstood several challengers over the years including Pizza Hut and Happy Joe's. Competitors come and go in this small town of 7,000 residents. I have no doubt whatsoever that the Pizza Corner will be there when my future grand-kids visit my hometown many years from now. read more

If you're from any region of the country other than this one, I'm going to suggest that you skip this place and every other place in town, find a grocery store and survive on snacks for the duration of your stay. We paid $18 for a frozen dough cracker-crust pizza-like thing that we could have gotten for $4.99 at a dollar general. It wasn't as bad as one time when we were in Northern Michigan and in a moment of desperation, we ordered Little Caesars, but it was pretty damn close. Good luck and may your travels through this land be swift. read more

When I first ate pizza corner pizza I didn't like it. Many years have passed and thought OK..I'll give it another try. Still the worst pizza I've ever eaten. Minus a star rating. read more

Totino's $.99 pizza might be a better choice for a decent pizza and healthier too. Aside from a sorta pizza made on a tortilla crust, Pizza Dave is an asshole. read more

Pizza corner pizza is overpriced cheese and tomato sauce on a cracker crust. The pizza isn't as great as the locals boast. I would give them one star but they are generous with their toppings so I gave it two. read more

Nothing great, but still pretty good pizza. Order at counter place with no atmosphere. Service is friendly for what it is. Can't beat a $2.50 lunch special! read more

Love this pizza and personally feel responsible for suggesting to Dave that he get into the frozen pizza business. Thin, crispy crust and not too much sauce is what it is all about. Want to ruin a pizza, just add lots of sauce on to a limp crust. Ate at Pizza Dave's "Pizza Corner" often while in college, when we could scrape a few dollars together, and I have a frozen one from the Fredonia or Kulm bar whenever I'm home. Also, congrats on the sale Dave, and enjoy the fruits of your hard work. read more

This place does not use pizza crust, they use cracker bread. They don't even bake it long enough to melt the cheese, I'm sure the cracker bread would burn if they did. My husband will eat anything but this stuff is just too horrible. read more

If it's late at night, you are in Valley City N.D. and you are really, really hungry......go to a gas station, get some free packets of catsup, dig some toe jam out of your shoes, smear it on an old newspaper from the dumpster and enjoy it..... it will be by far a more pleasant meal than the stuff they call pizza from this place. I normally would not give a review like this, but this one was deserved. One Star because it MIGHT be edible. read more
