The ingredients tasted fresh, everything came out hot, and the pizza had plenty of flavor without feeling overdone. The crust was especially good: great flavor with that perfect balance of crispness and chew. The staff was friendly, attentive, and responsive throughout the visit, which made the experience even better. It's been a while, but Giovanni's reminded me why it has such a strong reputation. Still one of the best pizza spots in the city, and definitely worth going out of your way for.
