Prices here are very inexpensive, which lead us to hesitate in ordering. Like all things, you get what you pay for with food. On a whim, the first time we ordered, we were pleasantly surprised. The food is hot, fresh, well-prepared, and well seasoned. We ordered a second and third time prior to me making this review so that we could see if the tastiness was a fluke. It wasn't.
The burgers are thick and piled with a variety of salad and you can get any sauce on their menu added to your burger. They have a few fun burgers, which are unlike any I've seen before. An example would be the Wack Burger which is a 100% beef patty, pepperoni, bacon, and salad. For those who don't prefer beef, they offer a lamb burger and also offer a vegetarian burger option.
The pizza crust dough is made fresh on site and the pizza itself has a good ratio of sauce to toppings. The burgers are offered in 1/4lb or 1/2lb. The sides and extras are many and varied from chips to twisty fries to mozzarella sticks, hot wings and jacket potatoes (and quite a few others). The kebabs on offer are pork and chicken and are cooked on char grill which give them another layer of flavour. Also on offer is lamb doner and lamb kofte, but I've not tried those so I'm not able to give a review of their tastiness. After trying the chicken and the pork, I'm team pork. It was succulent, tender, well-seasoned, and grilled to perfection.
The desserts on offer are strawberry cheesecake and chocolate fudge cake.
This review would be five stars were it not for a couple of easily changeable things. First, the strawberry cheesecake is nearly frozen in the centre. My husband is not a fan of the ice crystals and such atop the generous slices. And second, the food arrives in styrofoam containers. This causes the food to sweat and the fries and onion rings to lose their crispiness. I'm not a fan of soggy fried food (no matter how tasty) - and the heat of the food within can melt holes into, or distort, the styrofoam containers. read more
