    Meatball appetizer.
    Jeff W.

Excellent atmosphere. Our server was great. I would eat this food in an alley of dumpsters served by angry baboons!! I'm afraid word is going to get out on this place and we'll never get a table again. The meatball appetizer was great!! Simple lite sauce. Perfect texture and herb balance on them balls. But folks, the pizza was, literally, maybe the best I've ever had. It looked amaze. Elite cheese pull. Their ricotta is the smoothest creamiest substance I've ever had on a pizza. I would rinse with it. The sauce is simple, substantial, and elegant at the same time. The crust though. Light. Airy.CRISP. The chew!!! Absolutely hoping tables will be available for what I hope are numerous and frequent visits.

Absolutely the best pizza I have had in forever. We are from Ohio and here for a fall sightseeing trip and decided to look up some mom and pop pizza shops and stumbled upon Pizza Blvd! I have never thought of having ricotta cheese on a pizza and when I saw this option I knew we had to try it! I got extra (to combat the Mike's Hot Honey cause I'm a wimp) and wowzers it was amazing! The server was the sweetest and that was super too!

If you have ever eaten Real Brooklyn style pizza ( good pizza) This is the spot for you! The only true pizza joint in altoona/ Hollidaysburg. The food is absolutely delicious as well! Great customer service and friendly folks.

Nice place, bland pizza. Couldn't taste the sauce much. You can get just a slice. Nice staff. Crisp crust, no flop. Just meh to us.

Everything was delicious, served hot, and the food came out fast. I would come back again for the warm service and because it was so hard to choose our menu items. We went to Finelli's Italian Villa last Friday so my family could experience Finelli's like I did…read moretwo years ago, and I'm so glad we did. It's a small spot tucked right in the middle of the block off 17th Street in Altoona. Don't let the location fool you--it's worth every bit of the drive. My wife, our three teens, and a longtime friend joined me for dinner. We started with the drunken mushrooms as an appetizer, and even though I'm not usually a big mushroom guy, these were absolutely phenomenal--packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. We also tried the chef's special tomatoes and mozzarella in a balsamic vinaigrette, which was fresh and delicious. Everyone ordered different entrees, including a crab cake, encrusted chicken with vegetables, and shrimp Alfredo. Every single dish was outstanding. My crab cake was one of the best I've ever had--loaded with crab and seasoned just right. Nothing was heavy or overly sauced; it all tasted fresh and high-quality. To top it off, they brought out a dessert tray with multiple made-fresh options. My wife also had a freshly made cappuccino that she really enjoyed. The wait staff was attentive, polite, and genuinely friendly the whole night. Amigh even stopped by our table to check in and make sure we were having a great evening. If you're craving a really solid, high-quality Italian meal without any fuss, do yourself a favor and check out Finelli's Italian Villa. We left completely satisfied and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!

This cozy, candlelit little spot is literally in a cellar--and it oozes charm. Pro tip: they're only open a few days a week, so call or shoot them a Facebook message to make sure you're on the list! Now the food... We started with the Drunken Mushrooms, and let me tell you, they were earthy, wine-kissed perfection. I skipped the garlic bread and just went full fork-to-fungus. No regrets. Next up: the homemade gnocchi with a meatball. Loved the meatball--meaty and not weighed down by breadcrumbs. The gnocchi was a little denser (which I like!), and it all just felt lovingly made. The Baked Haddock was fresh, light, and bathed in a lemon-wine sauce that made me want to go in for seconds... if I wasn't already full. But dessert called. We split the coconut cake, and it was gorgeous. Light, fluffy, with just a whisper of anise (which isn't my fave, but my mom was over the moon about it). This place feels like a secret passed from friend to friend--and now I'm passing it to you.
