This pizza was great, not "Altoona pizza" at all (IYKYK). It was a very well executed NY style, not exactly NY but in the vicinity and very tasty. Crust was thin, light and airy - not doughy, perfect texture. Sauce was very robust. Perfect amount of grease to keep it from being bland w/o being overwhelming. Service was very good and it's a cute space inside. Hubs tried the coffee soda which wasn't personally to my taste, but he enjoyed it. If we'd been hungrier they had some desserts that looked good. We only come through one lunch a year on the way north, but I think we've found our place to stop each time. read more

Was pretty excited when we first saw this place while passing by! Decided to check it out and order some takeout for lunch. Ordered four things and it only took about 15 minutes! We got a pizza steak sub, ham and cheese sub, chicken bacon wrap, and I personally tried the buffalo chicken wrap. (One of my favorite lunches!) I was so pleasantly surprised by the quality of the ingredients! Everything tasted fresh and the subs had homemade bread! Everyone really enjoyed their various sandwiches, and I especially enjoyed my wrap! It had quite a nice spicy kick! And a good ratio of chicken to sauce. I also enjoyed the additional veggies which added that perfect hint of crunch and freshness! Went to pick up our order and got a chance to look inside the restaurant. It was a really nice spot! I wasn't in there for very long but from what I could see it was clean and well taken care of. Unfortunately as I was picking up my order I lost something in the parking lot and didn't realize it until about two hours later. When I called and asked they were super kind and helpful about it and I was able to go and pick it up. The employees were super helpful and kind in this situation! We have heard so many good things about this place so tonight we drove the hour to try it out. The garlic knots were first, what I was expecting the taste of garlic however I only tasted pesto. They could add some more garlic butter in my own opinion. The pizza crust is amazing and crunchy and absolutely delicious. I don't like spicy pepperoni and they have a bit of spice to it but other than that I'd definitely come back. We were treated very kindly, the restaurant was clean and loved the music playing also haha! read more

Excellent atmosphere. Our server was great. I would eat this food in an alley of dumpsters served by angry baboons!! I'm afraid word is going to get out on this place and we'll never get a table again. The meatball appetizer was great!! Simple lite sauce. Perfect texture and herb balance on them balls. But folks, the pizza was, literally, maybe the best I've ever had. It looked amaze. Elite cheese pull. Their ricotta is the smoothest creamiest substance I've ever had on a pizza. I would rinse with it. The sauce is simple, substantial, and elegant at the same time. The crust though. Light. Airy.CRISP. The chew!!! I drove 15/20 minutes from the other side of town and boy am I happy. On first glance I already knew this pizza was going to be AMAZING. I would give it a 7/10. This was an absolute throwback to time spent in NYC. The salad was. Simple, fresh and well seasoned with their homemade dressing. The bread and Pizza crust was made in house and superbly cooked. Absolutely the best pizza I have had in forever. We are from Ohio and here for a fall sightseeing trip and decided to look up some mom and pop pizza shops and stumbled upon Pizza Blvd! I have never thought of having ricotta cheese on a pizza and when I saw this option I knew we had to try it! I got extra (to combat the Mike's Hot Honey cause I'm a wimp) and wowzers it was amazing! When they recently made an error on the takeout order they immediately went to work on correcting with fairness and generosity. Popped in on a whim a little after 8pm Friday night. The staff were so welcoming and friendly. We dined in and had garlic knots, a side salad, a white pie and a honey cup slice. Everything was absolutley delicious. We will definitely be back! read more
