Fast forward almost 20 years later (OMG!) and I'm doing the exact same thing. Okay, it's not via the PizzaNet website (I use EatNow), I'm not running Windows 3.1 and my iPad is considerably sleeker than Sandra's 15" CRT monitor, chunky CPU and dial up modem but the end result - pizza - is the same. My local purveyor is the Redwood Park Pizzeria. I've ordered online for pick-up four or five times, cash on arrival and there has never been an issue. The pizzas are well priced, with plenty of quality toppings. We usually go the Redwood Special and request no mushrooms or anchovies in the comments box. Not once has our pizza been befouled by dirty shrooms or stinky fish. However, the pastas, which we have only ordered once, have a lot of melted cheese throughout which was not popular with our guests and made for a lot of inedible leftovers. If I order pastas again, I will request they be cheeseless. Anyway, got to get off the Internet, Mum wants to use the phone and I have to change my ICQ status.

I'm so glad that I finally remembered to give the small business a try - their menu is extensive, the pizza sizes are better value than chain pizza places and over ordering from there a few times, the product is always of a high standard and tastes absolutely amazing. The staff are always absolutely lovely and friendly - I highly recommend the potato pizza and the garlic bread pizza is an absolute winner!

It was upon stepping into this modest looking deli with fluro lighting, 50s vinyl chairs and plastic tables, random cooking equipment scattered around and big, black and white pictures of beautiful Italians with "I love Napoli" written on them hanging on the wall that I felt like I had returned to a pizza shop from the mother land. Walk out through the kitchen to toilet at the back of the shop and you might trip on a bag of pizza flour on way but don't worry, the lino floors will protect your fall. Enough about the interior, that doesn't really matter. In traditional fashion, the star of the show is the hand made blackened pizza oven sitting in the middle of the shop serving up damn good WOG Pizza. We thought we'd be modest an just order one 12 inch Frutti di Mare (seafood) and a bottle of wine to share (funnily enough sipped out of those promo wine cups that you collect from various wine events and functions over the years). But after devouring this crispy based, sweet tomato sauce covered, melt in your mouth seafood pizza we decided we couldn't stop at one. The Truff Truff was next - a creamy, cheesy base of truffle oil, cheese, dried mediterranean herbs and more cheese. Forget manners, there's no forks or plates here and the owner really couldn't care less if you came in or not. He does what he loves and I think even if there were no customers in store he would be happy. The girls on the floor are friendly but really, who needs to make small talk when all you want to do is finish off 2 large pizzas in 30 minutes and then roll home?

(But ask for a salad and they'll make you one). Great beers and Italian wines (by the bottle only but you can take the rest home). This wonderful simple and charming little gem serves up fantastic wood oven pizzas and isn't trying to do anything else. Not salty or oily, with a very light airy wood oven crust topped with buffalo Di mozarella, prosciutto or whatever you like from the menu. And randomly in the back streets of Campbelltown (which isn't so bad not being on a main road as thru have a cool outdoor area out the front).

Well I don't think this is standard practice, but my partner got some lovely flowers from the owner which made her day... I admit, I don't buy them for her as often as I probably should... So she'd say anyway. The pizza was loaded with toppings and offered a nice flavourful bite. The cheese was nice and thick, which while it tasted good probably wasn't the best thing for me. Still, we don't eat pizza as a diet food, so who cares. An awesome little place locked away behind Ingle Farm Shopping Centre.

I usually order the Greek pizza, which has a beautiful amount of lamb on it. They also have a wide selection of pastas and some great looking Italian desserts in the fridge (and gelato too). I've never had to wait very long for my order. If you're looking for some delicious takeaway, it's perfect. Not somewhere I would dine in at, though the chairs out front make it an option. If your looking for somewhere casual with pizzas to eat in, I'd recommend cafe Verde, about 10 minutes away.

The view of the Adelaide Hills from the position of the Cellar Door is breath taking. Rolling green hills that seem to go forever. A great place for tourists to get an idea of how beautiful the Adelaide Hills can be. The owner took time to accommodate us in our tasting and inquiries during a busy service time while running at least 3 x functions. All guests, even the children were enjoying what Anderson Hills has to offer, a down to earth family winery experience. Not only is the wine and beer great, the menu is something that I will be back for as well. They offer wood oven pizzas, awesome sliders, and chutney & cheese platter. For the wine connoisseurs, please take note of the sauvignon blanc. It is quite unique in taste for the Adelaide Hills. Quite subtle and not as bitter as the rest. I actually love this place so much, I booked it in for my Father's 60th Birthday.

He asked me what my major in University was (which was Psychology), and he jokingly replied, "So you've come to analyse me!" He made me smile with that one. And I noticed he jokes around with every customer and co-worker! But seriously, do they know how to make pizzas properly! (Awww...man this dough and meat is fresh and soft, not like the try-hard local stores who end up making it hard to eat!) If you're looking for a delicious and authentic Italian-made pizza with fresh dough and toppings that should be expected in Italian pizza, than you can take Salvatore's Slice of Italy's name, which is a genuine original Italian name, and turn it into "The Freshest and Softest Pizza in Adelaide" - especially after you wash a slice or two down with a couple of cans of soft drinks! The chef was so friendly, when I asked what the gorgeous photos on his wall came from, he told me stories of his trips overseas back home to the beautiful pristine islands of Italy, and all his cousins. He said his uncles from Italy were the ones who taught him how to make pizzas for life. I love immigrants who never forget where they came from, or apply what they learnt in their younger years to run a successful business or job for the rest of their life. Look for the colourful Italian flag colours of green, white and red at the front to guide your way. Anyway - just find this place. You will not be disappointed...There's even some other fascinating shops right next door!

My son decided it was to be pizza night and he chose two family size - The Lot and Meat Lovers. I ordered via a food app, so got a text stating that the order would be ready in 20 minutes, and they were true to their word. They have meal deals and it cost only $30 for the two family pizzas. They didn't have any family size boxes left, so the pizzas were placed in the party size boxes. This pizza place is better for take away than eat in as they only have a couple of tables and pretty simple decor. New owners took over three months ago. As for the pizza, plenty of topping, so much in fact that it was hard to know if there were any anchovies until I could taste them. The ham was a little too processed for my liking. The crust was on the thinner side with a crisp edge. Certainly value for money for a decent feed.

On this occasion, we chose breakfast inside and popped the toddler into a high chair before serving her a babycino which she refused to acknowledge apart from playing with the marshmallow. Mum had poached eggs on toast and I went for eggs Benedict. Both were done nicely if not a tiny bit expensively. Still off coffee so my latte went half undrunk which was a shame. I would like to try dinner here at some stage and report on the full meal offerings.
