This cafe does a roaring trade, especially on the weekends, where all sorts of people take advantage of the spacious dining areas both inside and out. On this occasion, we chose breakfast inside and popped the toddler into a high chair before serving her a babycino which she refused to acknowledge apart from playing with the marshmallow. Mum had poached eggs on toast and I went for eggs Benedict. Both were done nicely if not a tiny bit expensively. Still off coffee so my latte went half undrunk which was a shame. I would like to try dinner here at some stage and report on the full meal offerings. read more

Located in fairly newish Fairview Park shopping centre, which is medium sized and fairly local, Cafe Verde is a Primo type cafe but a little less busy and a little nicer in the food department. It's a good place for meeting large groups as there is plenty of seating and it's never that busy. Also the food is standard Italian style and fairly cheap, with come specials, but also expensive steaks and seafood. Green (verde) echos throughout the place with nice decor and normal wait staff. They also do breakfast (my favourite meal of the day) and takeaway. Also keep room for dessert, their cake display is quite enticing. read more

Good breakfast and good layout Have been here for breakfast a few times and the food and coffee always match the price and unlike the standard Italian cafe this is not over crowded. A lovely outdoor dining area for the sunny afternoons high up off the road makes for no noise. The pizzas for lunch here are also pretty good and take a little longer but very good read more

Was a nice quiet place with great breakfast. I had the Turkish Bread Breakfast Roll which was great with pepper and a little salt. Along with this I had the fruit salad. The salad was fresh and delicious. Prices were resonable. Would like to return again. read more

One of my favourite places to go, the staff at Cafe Verde are friendly and accommodating, the food full of taste & variety. Two of my favourite dishes include the chicken salad and the super supreme pizza which has a zillion toppings (& which I always order without salami). The taste is always superb. They serve some killer moscato, the tastiest gelato, and the most rich flavoursome cakes including cakes from Elbios (one of my favourite patisseries). If you are wanting a full meal, or just cake & coffee, Cafe Verde is the place to go. read more

Nice Italian style cafe with cool green decor in keeping with the cafés name. Food okay and reasonably priced. Agree with previous review that this would be a good place for a large group as it is quite spacious and you aren't sitting arms length from the next table like many cafés. Lovely outdoor seating area but was unfortunately occupied by multiple groups of smokers rather spoiling our dining experience. read more
