We absolutely LOVED our dinner here--and that's saying something for our crazy party of seven! It's…read morethe first place we've visited in Orange Beach where everyone agreed they loved their meal. We ordered the lasagna, chicken parmesan, walnut cranberry salad with chicken, chicken alfredo, cheese bread, spinach dip, and a pepperoni pizza, and every dish was a hit. We sat outside, which made for an absolutely delightful evening. Even the music playlist was great and had us all humming along. The service was friendly and attentive, and the prices were very reasonable compared to other dinners we've had in the area. Overall, we highly recommend this place and would happily come back on our next trip!

Our server was friendly and patient while we looked over the menu. However, service was rather slow and the restaurant wasn't really crowded. We weren't in a hurry so we waited patiently on our drinks and food. We each ordered our own small pizza since we wanted different toppings. She ordered the bacon cheeseburger pizza, I ordered the garden Alfredo pizza. Both pizzas were good, but I liked hers better. My toppings looked like they had been thrown on the pizza without regard to where they fell. We agreed that we had eaten better pizza but overall, it wasn't bad. The star of the evening was the chocolate chip brownie. We enjoyed this decadent dessert! The ambiance was cool and bustling and I could see it being family oriented, good for date night or a good spot to catch a game on tv. I would return on a future visit to the area if I were in the mood for pizza. Try them out. Happy Eating!

There is no better pizza! This place has a great one, too!! Neighborhood Pub atmosphere. Clean and cozy. Staff was friendly. Now for the reason we won't go back. The parking lot is small and tight to navigate. That would still be fine. But, the parking lot is covered in some powdery white dusty substance. (No. It's not sand, Skippy) And the stuff sticks to your shoes until you get back in your car. Then, it gets on everything. It won't vacuum out, but comes out pretty easy if you wipe everything down with a wet towel. TWICE. There is a paved parking lot next door, at a beach store. But, you'd still have to walk through the stuff to get inside the restaurant and then back to your car. Maybe take a wet towel to wipe everybody's shoes? I don't know. But, the place is really good. We'll probably drive by every few months to see if maybe it was just some temporary issue that they are addressing. Until then, I recommend this restaurant, if you're staying at a condo within walking distance and your condo has one of those "rinse off" stations. Get the Margherita flatbread. You'll be impressed. If this place wasn't as outstanding as it was - this parking lot mess would have cost a lot more than the one star I subtracted.

Lauria’s - We were a little more than disappointed when we received the actual dish on a black plastic disposable plate.

I live in PA, where pepperoni rolls are big. The flavor and consistency of Vinny's puts those I've eaten back home to shame, both in size and outward appearance. What was truly amazing was their steak sandwiches and meatball pizza. Steak sandwiches here are flavorful, hot, and juicy, with select meat and perfectly melted Swiss cheese and green peppers on fresh, toasted sub bread. Every bite is delicious, with savory flavors making this a simplistic delight. My family also ordered meatball pizza. This pie is a crowd pleaser! It's better than my usual pepperoni pizzas. The crust is everything I mentioned earlier - flavorful cheese melted to perfection, and the meatballs complemented the other flavors with the seasoning included within their sauces and toppings. Drink selections here are limited, offering basic alcohol classics like beers, wines, and sodas. You can't go wrong here. I love beers paired with my pizza. They offer more than excellent food. Their hospitality is impressive, ensuring patrons a memorable visit and welcoming customers into their store, staying very attentive to your order and ensuring correctness when served. The staff here is the best. The atmosphere here is equally impressive. It gives that nostalgic 80's feel, evoking the classic pizzeria feel you'd see in movies, where pizza displays sat upon countertops next to the register, enticing customers to enjoy a delicious slice. Their Galaga and Mrs. Pac-Man games towards the front add a touch from days when kids played games while parents socialized over beer. Interior dining here is impressive as well. The dining room space for small groups is perfect, too, and for those nice sunny days, there's somewhere you can enjoy dining with your furry friend. Their patio area is gorgeous, quaint, and offers customers a view of the Ferris wheel, people-watching, and relaxation, enjoying a relaxing dining experience. Vinny's is a must-visit! Stop by for a quick slice or grab a whole pie to share. Be Sure to Like on FB & tell a friend https://www.facebook.com/VinnysPizzeriaWharf/
