I've had many facials in the past, but this one was unlike anything I have ever had before. I got the signature facial but Danelle really personalized the facial for my skin, which is fantastic! I got a LED treatment, micro dermabrasion, cellophane and a hot towel to the face, fantastic masks, and a warm tip to work in the eye product. This is a somewhat bustling big salon nestled in a fancy shopping center so I wasn't able to get a…read moresame day pedicure appointment. I did however get a cut and color from color me crazy Sara Bear (booked two days prior from a app) and I noticed that other hair stylists inside seemed capable as I studied the clients that were leaving the salon. I was only there for less than two hours and during that time I only saw a limited amount of finished clients and they were mostly mature ladies such as myself with conservative hairstyles. The receptionist, who was also a stylist confided to me that she got her cuts elsewhere haha. Sara specializes in color and I loved that she was able to see me right away even if it was later in the evening. She usually gets booked up during the morning and afternoon. For now I requested an even all over copper shade, but I look forward to booking with her again for some funner dual shades. She was an absolute sweetheart and gave me exactly what I requested. It was just a quick trim to give it a tad bit of shape and eliminate unhealthy ends but I was stunned by how silky and soft she made my hair and I accidentally repeated incorrect zip codes for my credit card. So this place is a little hidden and very cute on the outside and inside, hence the name Urban Oasis!!!! was extremely friendly and did an awesome job with cutting my hair and keeping me engaged in a conversation as she worked her magic. The best part of the cut was the shampoo!!!! OMG, I could go there every morning just for the shampoo. She massage my scalp to the extent of me almost falling asleep... WOW!!!! Caitlin did and awesome job and for a guy's cut for $25 was about average what I pay on a normal basis at the barber shop.

My hair has looked pretty bad (washed out) the last 5 weeks but I have said nothing. I did cancel my next appt. No follow up by staff as to why and I lack the conviction to make a huge deal of it. It is only hair. Live and learn, moving on and I have to find somewhere else. Maybe it was just bad luck for me that day. If you do go here, try to park as close to the salon as possible as cars get broken into in the lot, notably beside the garbage dumpster.
