As a couple who have also been together for many years and didn't want all of the hoopla of a big wedding themselves, I felt like they really got our style and personalities. Plus, the photos that they did of other couples at Millwick were gorgeous and exactly the kind of photos we were looking for! After booking them, we didn't really have to do very much up until a few weeks from the big day. At that point, we provided them with our day-of schedule and some logistical information. Everything went really smoothly and easily, since they were already really familiar with our venue and location. We only booked one photographer, but both Candice and Mark decided to come on the day-of, so we were really excited to finally meet both of them in person. We spent the first hour pre-reception getting amazing couple photos at some awesome spots in downtown LA. They both have a great eye for spotting cool, industrial spots that I would never have thought twice about. This hour was really memorable because not only did the photos turn out beautiful, but Candice and Mark made us so comfortable. We're not exactly camera-loving people, so they made this fun for us. The awkwardness at the beginning gave way to a really goofy and cute experience that I felt like really captured us as a couple. After seeing the photos, I'm definitely glad we listened to what they were saying about poses that seem silly in real life actually turn out really nice in photos. Plus, they were great about making adjustments to our face and hands to ensure a flattering turn-out (no double chins!). My only regret was not doing this session longer! Then, they helped us transition to the reception and managed to get through all of our huge family photos with no trouble at all. For the rest of the evening, they went around getting great shots of our guests and were totally unintrusive. Even the posed photos that you wouldn't expect much of turned out to be great because of their technique, lighting, and use of the beautiful pops of color around the venue. We got the edited photos in about two weeks after our event, and we were blown away with how they turned out! Some of the guest photos were so flattering that I couldn't help but include them in our holiday cards. We got both a link to download all of the high res photos and a link to a shop for lower res photos if we wanted to order any through the site or send it out to friends and family. Overall, I highly recommend Candice and Mark for producing beautiful photos of your big day!

But aside from their great personalities their photos are amazing. I am awkward in front of cameras. But not in my wedding photos. My photos showed a beautiful bride with her charming yet stoic husband and all their family and friends in a perfectly lit hotel wedding. The reality was we were all hot,sweaty and spread out over multiple rooms in a hotel over a span of many many hours. I even got a giant mosquito bite on my back right at the beginning of the day bad enough that everyone's first reaction is OMG Mosquito Bite!!! (but you can't see it in any of my photos). From the beginning to end she was easy to work with and gave me no doubt in my mind that I hired the correct person for the job. She greeted us with a big smile and introduced her self, very professional, kind, nice, and patient (as we were dealing with teenagers). She is bilingual and made my father feel comfortable. She is creative with different poses and made sure she got the correct angles and lighting as we were hitting sunset. We were on a very busy location on a Saturday evening and yet she made sure she captured little to none additional individuals in the shot. She provided a good amount of images and in addition had the option to enhance images. All images were clear and on spot, we had a difficult time select photos to enhance due to the great quality of work originally provided. Captured every moment and made my experience so much better and fun. Not to mention the photo's were available the next day and the editing took less than a day as promised.
