A few weeks ago, I decided to replace my dying D80 with a new camera. It was about time as my old one was an octogenarian in camera years (8 years in human years), so I decided to hop on over to V-Mall to score some new gear. At first I allotted two hours to canvas, compare prices, and squeeze between unruly tiangge shoppers to get from one store to the next, but apparently, Pixel Pro is so good at selling cameras that they've basically run everyone else out of business. It's hard not to when you're one of the first stores to get new models and have a good stock of every lens and accessory a person could want. They even sell bags, fancy holsters and tripods; basically a one stop shop to become an aspiring photographer. The people on staff are surprisingly knowledgeable and won't rush you to make a purchase, just make sure you've got cash so you don't have to pay for that annoying credit card surcharge. read more
