She became a friend throughout the long process of our wedding planning and she even met up with us when we drove down to Santa Barbara to check out some venues and meet some vendors. She showed us this hidden gem of a ceremony venue that I fell head over heels in love with (although unfortunately we didn't get to be married there because I let my husband have his first choice of ceremony venue, as it was one of the only things he actually cared about). My husband and I are both pretty introverted and awkward people, and hate being the center of attention and people looking at us, so we were NOT looking forward to being filmed or photographed. We had an awful experience with Ridge Productions! Once we received our wedding video back we were…read morein shock that this is the work of a professional company. Important moments during our ceremony were omitted from the video. I had made a special audio for my husband, a prayer for us, for our walk and this was left out of the video!! We did a mash up dance that was also omitted from the video! Our cousins did a fabulous dance for us that was also left out! WHY? These are important moments of the wedding! It should be noted that I had communicated with Ridge Productions before our wedding that these special moments must be included in the video. During another important moment, the marriage contract, the entire video footage was shaky, I felt like my 7 year old nephew could have taken better footage. So careless at such a sensitive time! To make matters worse the audio during our marriage ceremony and contract was way off and didn't match the video. What is going on? During our speeches, the coloring of the video was off and again, shaky footage. I just can't understand how you could do this for someone's wedding? We paid for the Platinum package, which was the highest package available. Doing this with an expectation that we would be pleased with the results. To our dismay, we were beyond disappointed! Through my interactions with Ridge via email, and phone, I really tried to work this out and edit the video. After the 1st edit I was shocked that what I received still had the same issues!! I was so sad and it was so hard to even look at the video again to make notes for our 2nd round. I finally sat down and worked on all my notes. The owner Tim completely blew me off and said there is nothing else he can do for us!!! WHAT?? Our contract states we are entitled to 2 edits. We didn't even get 1 edit because our video was never in a normal state. There was so much work and issues with the original video. Now we have to pay to get our video edited by another videographer. I STRONGLY ADVISE YOU TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS VENDOR. WHAT A WASTE OF MONEY! BIG FAIL!

I was drawn in by their 4k video and drone footage options at a reasonable price, but I was thoroughly impressed by their openness to creative collaboration and willingness to show up early and stick around late in order to get the best end product anyone could have hoped for. Well after watching our wedding video that this amazing team has done for us, I cannot believe how great they made us look! Let's start from the very beginning ... As our wedding date was set, my girl and I were looking for a great videography team that had style, had passion and also had experience with the venue we were having our wedding at. After looking through our venue's IG page, a specific video caught my eye and it happened to be done by the wonderful FilmLife team. I had already reached out to 2 other videography teams and as we spoke with each of these videography teams, it was easy to choose FilmLife. First off, the first interaction with FilmLife was genuine; upon meeting a very friendly Trenton, he asked very specific questions that were outside of the wedding plans as well as related to the wedding plans to gauge what kind of couple we are. As soon as both Trenton and us realized we had good chemistry and that this would be a fun day to be around each other, it was an easy decision. I really appreciated this vetting process because you want to be comfortable from both behind and in front of the camera. The other videography teams were very "cookie-cutter", they didn't ask much about us other than our dates and we never got to speak with the videographer who'd work with us, it was just yes we'll take you and here's what it'll cost. Trenton sat down and took time out of his day to also see if we'd be a couple he'd shoot with and after an hour call that felt like 10 minutes, it was an easy decision. We went through the packages that FilmLife had and FilmLife was very flexible and understanding of what we were looking for. As weeks went by and the wedding date approaching, Trenton sat down with us through zooms and was able to help craft our story, customized to us with questions about us as a couple, our history, what our future looks like and what we are excited for at the wedding. These types of questions help with your own vows and we appreciated having these sessions to help truly understand why we were getting married. May I also say that Trenton always had enthusiasm with these sessions; we understand that Trenton and his wife and team were very busy because of their schedule but our sessions always felt as if the wedding was tomorrow and FilmLife was eager to shoot. The wedding day comes in and Trenton arrives with another videographer, the man Jacob. These two provide the game plan that had been reviewed multiple times before the day but it felt like everything flowed smoothly. Trenton would be with us for one part and then Jacob as well and the duo just had great chemistry working with each other as well as our wedding party. It was just fun all around. Never did we felt like we were in front of a camera, but also when Trenton and Jacob were able to chat, they felt like just one of our friends hanging out. When it's your wedding day, you're bound to feel the jitters of the day but with the all stars of Trenton and Jacob, you felt calm and loose and just overall excited. Plus both these guys hit all the highlights we wanted them to record and after a long and fun and momentous day, both Trenton and Jacob showed enthusiasm, a sense of style and eye for the moment and were extremely professional. Finally wrapping up, we received our sneak peeks sooner than we thought and we were astonished as to how amazing FilmLife made our day look.
