We requested several specific family photos and these two nailed all of them and then gave suggestions for additional photos all along the way. Then we got our wedding video and WOW. They condensed our day-long event into 10 minutes of all of the best moments. We can't say enough great things about Maddy and Felicia. The second we met them in person, we instantly fell in love with their uplifting personalities and down-to-earth demeanors. Felicia and Maddy are the best for 2 reasons: 1) They do beautiful work. For our wedding, they did video and created a killer trailer and awesome full length video. They even did some cool stuff with 35mm film. They really captured the spirit/vibe of the wedding in both the actual shots as well as the music. They also provided me with the uncut video on a USB stick - so I have the full length speeches and dances. Additionally, they photographed 2 of my friends' weddings in SB and both of the brides were thrilled with the photos. 2) They make the entire process so enjoyable. They are 2 of the most pleasant people to be around. They are fun and outgoing but not intrusive at all. Emotions can be a bit high on the big day and they always handle it so well. I just got my photographs back from I heart my Groom and I'm sitting here weeping, not only because I'm flooded with memories of that day but because these images that will last a lifetime are more beautiful than I could have ever imagined.. and I'm a photographer myself! I went to college with Feli and when it came time to look for a photographer there was only one in mind, and from the bottom of my heart I mean that if I had a million photographers to choose from I still would have wanted Feli. We chose them for the beautiful photos and video in their portfolio, but we love them for so many more reasons. They're professional, passionate, flexible and so much fun. First, they traveled to San Francisco (where we live) to do our engagement shoot and it was then that we learned how passionate they are about photography. My fiancé and I bought the groupon or living social deal for a one hour photo shoot with Maddy and Felicia and had the most wonderful photo shoot with them last week. Neither my partner nor I enjoys being photographed, AT ALL. That said, both women were really friendly, funny, and great at making us feel more comfortable in front of the camera. The dynamic duo! I first met Maddy and Felicia at a bridal convention in Santa Barbara and knew right away they were the photographers we were looking for (I literally spent 10 minutes admiring the images they had out on display, then at least double that chatting away with them). Not only are they outgoing and SUPER FUN, but they are extremely talented. We hired them to shoot our wedding, but before then, they took our engagement pics. WOW. Perfection. Have you ever cried looking at an image (in a good way HAHA)?!?! Our engagement pictures were flawless - they knew where to take us, what time to go based on light, worked around our schedules to line up the shoot, suggested the right clothing and props, and nailed the "vision" I had for our shots. POW! Needless to say, over the months between our engagement shoot and wedding, we kept in constant contact. And, as our wedding approached, there was not one ounce of concern as to how they'd handle our big day. In fact, on our wedding day, they were the "calm" I needed amongst the chaos of the day. They were always smiling, directing us on how to pose, etc., ensuring all our 'must have' shots were taken (timing everything to a T), making us laugh, and looking for creative ways to bring our wedding to life in the images we received. If you have the ability, I would HIGHLY suggest doing their photo booth - it was SO much fun and went so smooth. At the last minute, my husband and I decided we wanted to hire a videographer, so we asked Maddy and Felicia for a suggestion. Well little did I know, THEY DO THAT TOO!
