The next day Tom showed up on time and worked well with our whole team, as he filmed our creative meeting with our celebrity chef. He and his crew member blended in well to the background, which enabled us to carry on naturally--ultimately capturing some beautiful candid moments throughout our design process. For this specific project, we worked with 5 different freelancers, but Tom was the most responsive, dependable, and helpful of them all. Not to mention, the video he produced was top quality and was turned around to us within the week. We also later worked together while I produced a large webisode offsite in Vegas with Zappos. And I have to say that it was an absolute pleasure to collaborate with his team. Even when outside vendors threw some curveballs at us, I felt confident and calm with the Venture Visuals team backing me up. We got all the shots we needed and art directing the final products was a breeze, thanks to the professionalism and vision that Tom and his team bring to each project. I cannot recommend Tom and his team enough. I just wish I had more projects to throw at them so I could work with them more often. Thanks for everything, guys!

But oh my, the final product of my wedding video had me in tears. It was so beautifully made and intricately placed together, his level of perfection surpasses my eye. I was even looking for the little hiccups that happened here and there and I felt like it was either covered well or just glad that he didn't include it in the final product. He truly did an amazing job, and I couldn't have been happier or made a better decision than choosing him for my special day. So thankful for everything he had done for us.

She…read morewas the first vendor we booked for our April 2020 wedding (that obviously was canceled due to Covid) and was super patient and helpful during the almost 2 years we ended up planning our wedding because of multiple cancellations. She gave us tons of recommendations for other vendors, many of whom became instrumental parts of our day, like Kelsey Crews Photo and Tanya of RSVP Weddings & Events. She became a friend throughout the long process of our wedding planning and she even met up with us when we drove down to Santa Barbara to check out some venues and meet some vendors. She showed us this hidden gem of a ceremony venue that I fell head over heels in love with (although unfortunately we didn't get to be married there because I let my husband have his first choice of ceremony venue, as it was one of the only things he actually cared about). My husband and I are both pretty introverted and awkward people, and hate being the center of attention and people looking at us, so we were NOT looking forward to being filmed or photographed. However, Jennie (and our photographer Kelsey Crews) were so warm and sweet and fun that they actually made the photoshoot one of the most enjoyable parts of the day! The 4 of us went off after the ceremony before the reception to film some footage and take photos, and we had an absolute blast! Jennie was even kind enough to send a 1-min sneak peek video the day after our wedding that I got to watch on repeat basically the entire 4.5 hour car ride back to the Bay Area! Choosing Riviera Productions to shoot our day was the single best decision I made throughout this entire process, because without Jennie (and some of the other vendors she introduced us to), we never would have had even close to as perfect a day as we did. The entire day was magic, and we have Jennie to thank for that. Jennie is kind and generous and flexible and we feel very fortunate to have her not just as our videographer, but as a lifelong friend. I really look forward to meeting her for a hike next time we're in Santa Barbara!

We had the absolute best experience with Matt Roberts from Rewind Photography for our Santa Barbara…read morecourthouse wedding. From the very beginning, Matt was incredibly detailed, thoughtful, and prepared. His website alone provided so much helpful information about the Santa Barbara courthouse wedding process and answered questions I had not even thought to ask yet. Once we booked, Matt continued to go above and beyond. He helped us create a clear timeline for the day, explained where to meet, planned photo locations around the courthouse, gave practical tips about the Hall of Records/security process, and even helped us think through how to include our children and family in the photos in a way that still allowed us to have intimate moments as a couple. His communication before the wedding made everything feel organized and calm. On the wedding day, Matt was amazing. He knew exactly where to go, how to guide us, and how to keep the day flowing without making it feel staged or stressful. He helped us stay in the moment instead of worrying about "being the moment." He was professional, warm, creative, and incredibly generous with his time. He even built in extra flexibility to make sure we got the moments and pictures that mattered most to us. After the wedding, his communication was just as thoughtful. He explained the editing process clearly and sent us beautiful preview photos within just a few days. The previews already captured the feeling, flow, and joy of the day so perfectly that we are even more excited to see the final gallery. Matt's knowledge of the Santa Barbara courthouse is outstanding, not only from a photographer's perspective, but also from a bride and groom's perspective. He truly understands how to make the experience feel smooth, meaningful, and beautiful. We are so grateful we found him and would recommend him without hesitation to anyone getting married at the Santa Barbara courthouse or looking for a photographer who genuinely cares about the full experience, not just the final photos.
