I appreciate this place being more of a class setting than those one-time activities for date night or to hang with friends, because ceramics takes awhile to get a good handle on. Plus there is a process of the bisque and glaze fire which cannot be done in a day. My recommendation is to take the 8-week class and show up to every class. At the end of the course, I'm sure you will have a better understanding of pottery.

I am always enjoying, exploring and experiencing different healing modalities, and my Activation with Erin made me feel great, which was awesome. However, I have referred friends & family to her who have experienced their DNA activations as profound and life-altering experiences, enabling them to break through many of their obstacles in one go. While I loved it and definitely felt clearer & better, the DNA activation did not totally transform my life, however, it did feel wonderful and propelled me forward into deeper healing. Since that initial experience with Erin, I have received so many different and powerful modalities from her - ancient Mystery School techniques & healings - and they have all been deeply empowering and transformative. For those wanting a healing path without process work (though I also practice & love process work!) where you can just relax and allow yourself to gently glide back into who-you-truly-are, I whole-heartedly recommend: Isis Healing King Solomon Healing Modality Etheric Surgery For those wanting to move deeper into the exploration of their spiritual selves, her Mystery School classes are amazing and she is a loving and generous teacher and guide! The tools in the wood shop are great, and the instructors really know their stuff. What's more, those guys sure know how to keep a sharp edge on their equipment. Tuition is, in my opinion, up to what one would expect to pay in today's economy, especially considering that everyone is scrambling for cash to stay afloat, even the local government and its affiliated programs. The registration process on the archaic website is a touch on the byzantine side, though. It looks a lot like the very first website I ever coded when I was 16 years old. Uhh, now that I think about it, it looks like the website I designed a few years ago. But I'm no web designer, so hah! Point being, you're gonna have to dig around a little bit to find what you're looking for, but once you've found it, the actual act of registering for a class is pretty straightforward. Now, back to the woodworking instructors: Between the Bill and Dave, they've got about 70 years experience, 20 fingers, 20 toes, and 8 eyes (they both wear glasses). So I trust them to teach me the ways. I don't know if I'll ever be able to snatch the pebble from their hands, but I'm confident that they're showing me how to keep all my phalanges and body parts so that I could snatch that pebble, even if only in theory. I plan on taking many more courses here, especially in the "Working with Wood" category of classes. Now go forth and learn something new!

I have a set of twins I let them know I wanted lessons to be kept separate bc I did not want them feeling more pressure. They were both already a bit nervous. Jerry was the instructor. They each had a lesson with him then my daughter went out on her second lesson and after speaking to her she told me he made her uncomfortable because he spoke of politics the entire time" Trump will fix everything" I have no issues with people having an opinion about politics I just would have preferred he kept it professional. My daughter and I do not share political views so to be clear his views did not offend me, they offended his student. Then she came back from the lesson I started asking her if they had worked on the things they needed to know for the road test. I am not a professional driving instructor so I as a parent I can get in the car and drive around and tell them to turn left. I expected the instructor to tell them what they would need to know and practice it with them. Parallel parking, the proper distances between cars, whatever they might be tested on. I called the office and voiced my concern that I was paying 1.50 a minute to have someone do what I could do. So My son went on his 2nd lesson with Jerry, (in between these lessons I was driving with my young adults) there were a few issues in the parking lot of target, Jerry had to slam on his brakes. He got my son to park went in to the bathroom, got my son a water to calm down, no issues so far. But then his twin sister had a lesson following him. Jerry proceeded to tell her that her brother scared him told her he almost hit a woman in the parking lot and he had to slam on his brakes, did dangerous maneuvers and would be failed immediately if he drove like that on the road test. He was speaking to another student and his sibling. I called Jerry he said "no I was not scared it was ok book another lesson for him next week." As a parent I was concerned when my daughter came home telling me all this bc my son had not told me this happened during his lesson. She teased her brother, my son now refuses to get behind the wheel of a car. That was 2 weeks ago. I just found out that was why he was not booking his next lesson with Jerry last night. I could not get him in the car to practice with me he always made excuses until I cornered him and had him talk to me. SO I called bc I was angry that Jerry was so unprofessional as to speak about my son's lesson with his sister. He said " I did not know your family was like that" attacking me and my family yelling at me telling me not to book another lesson they do not want my business bc he was unprofessional and I called to speak about it. No I am sorry, I should not have spoken to your daughter about her brother's lesson. No taking any responsibility for that at all. I am just disgusted with the unprofessional behavior. If you have multiple children I would not advise paying this school or Jerry for lessons as he seems unable to understand what professional behavior looks like offending first one of my young adults by discussing his politics for over an hour not taking social cues when she tried to change the subject then violating my son's privacy by discussing how he drove with his sister and instead of calming my son...letting him know if you drive long enough we have ALL had moments of near misses and helping to build his confidence back up and calling me to discuss what happened so I could coach him the same way. He opened him up to teasing by his sister and then attacked my family. I paid this school entirely too much money to be treated that way. Go somewhere else before you spend over 1,000.00 with this school.

I was very dissatisfied with every…read moreother aspect of my experience as I shall describe, most likely in painful detail for most of you. As a day care provider for the past 20 years, I am required by law to take a recertification class for CPR every other year. I have done this so many times, My schedule is that I have to take it between January and March of each year. Every class has an average of 10 students who each have to pay $70 to spend a whole day going over material. The day that I went was in January and was quite cold outside. However the room was was freezing as well. It was 52 degrees. When I asked the instructor whether they had any heat. she just laughed and said "That's so funny/." I was surprised that no effort was made to turn any heat on in the room. As we sat, none of us could take off any of our coats and those that had hoods on their coats soon had them around their faces and we had to hold our hands against our bodies to keep them warm. While others may be more timid, I am not one to suffer in silence and I repeatedly complained about the temperature. Finally the other students felt comfortable enough to join me in the complaints as well. We were so cold we could not even attempt to enjoy the cheap dollar store cookies and coffee provided as refreshments. I am a frequent visitor to the dollar stores so I immediately recognized the brands. I sipped at two cups of coffee, even though I didn't like it, just to try to warm up by drinking something hot and holding it in my hands. At one point, someone asked to let us at least open the curtains so that the sun could come through but we were told it could not be done, until one of the students got up and did it herself. The instructor did finally call someone to adjust or fix the heater but it was around noon before we had teat. Again the teacher's covering of the subject matter is not the issue in this review, it is the environment that I had a problem with and I am sure most other people did as well. And the fact that they were unwilling to spend even $5 per person on us for decent refreshments. The environment was so hostile due to the temperature, that I caught a cold and had to take the following Monday off work because I was too sick to attend to my job. I hope that the next time I have to take this class, the school will seriously take into consideration the comfort of the students.
