my husband & i, over 38 years, have had 11 cats. most of them lived into their 20's. vets are always amazed at how well taken care of they are. my husband says he wants to come back as 1 of my cats! lol!
we always had to take them to the vet's to put them to sleep. we thought it was kinda cruel to have to do that. 1 final scare. then we found that there are actually vets that will come to your house! wonderful! so much less stress!
i found dr. tamara padgelek, aka dr. tammy when our vinnie needed her help. this time it was for our "little baby boy" harry. at 17, he had pancreatic cancer. he was fine, & then he wasn't. that quick, no warning. our regular vet sent us home with the bad news, & told us to pick a time.
rather than taking him back, i called & left a message for dr. tammy to see if she could help us again. she called back right away. we set a time for just a few hours later.
she was professional, understanding, compassionate, soft spoken, gentle & kind. she handled him with such care. he was able to pass comfortably, with minimal stress, with his "mom & dad" at his side, quiet music playing in the background.
dr. tammy specializes in home euthanasia & hospice care. she is the answer to our prayers. i'm sure she can be your answer too. read more
