I read that the overgrowth can go systemic, into the bloodstream and into organs. I never mentioned in my original post that I had recently had a horrible sore throat that seemed to go into my esophagus - never had anything like this before - and it wasn't going completely away. Trouble swallowing. Medical doctor did bloodwork and I was negative for Covid antibodies. I am convinced that the patch in my lung is from the candida, which can cause pneumonia. My second visit was last week, and I initially thought I had a simple cold. After almost 10 days and not getting any better, I went to urgent care. I received the same comprehensive treatment and was diagnosed with a sinus infection. Again, everything from checking in to being seen, X-rayed, and diagnosed was very quick. Everyone there was very kind and professional. The facility is modern, very clean, and well laid out. They seem to have everything available to treat most minor to moderate illnesses and injuries short of being a full emergency room and hospital.
