I had the best office experience here anyone could hope for office smelled so beautiful decorated like Christmas I felt at home when I came in the door they greeted me took me right in within minutes The nurse that took my blood pressure was so pleasant met with the doctor he was everything his reviews of his past patients have said I can't say enough good things about this office as a whole then I got my blood work done one stick It was perfect the lady wished me a Merry Christmas and told me to call if I needed anything! My mother sees Dr. Pittman. The first time she ever saw him, she came home crying because he was so mean to him. The other times she saw him, she either came home pissed off or crying. I went to an appointment with her once, and this guy was a COMPLETE ASSHOLE. He is passive-aggressive (emphasis on the aggressive), doesn't know what he's talking about (he tried to tell my mom that she didn't have Gastroparesis, even though he is not a GI doctor; even after he spoke to my mom's GI doctor, he still thought she could "cure" her Gastroparesis by doing things SHE ALREADY DOES). He comes up with these bizarre ideas, and won't let them go. I just moved back to Rome recently, and have a hard time finding a physician. I have a chronic illness that require I take medication, so I was going to go see Dr. Pittman to get my prescriptions until I found someone better. I went to his office and spent 30-45 minutes filling out paperwork. They told me it would be a week or two before they would call me and give me an appointment; two days later they called me and told me Dr. Pittman had rejected my application "at this time." I did not do anything to warrant my application being rejected. When his staff called, they wouldn't tell me why they had rejected me. If you want a good physician who will listen to you and work with you (and generally be a decent human being), THIS IS NOT THE DOCTOR FOR YOU. read more

I have been seeing Dr Pittman for over a year now and find him to be quite efficient. He has a very friendly manner and at times is quite amusing. He seems to know his craft very well and has given me some very good instructions. He has kept my test up to date and is very familiar with my health problems. I have never had to wait for an appointment nor have I had any long waits in the waiting room. His staff are always polite, friendly and helpful. Pleasant atmosphere all the way around. He answers questions and explains things quite well. This is a good doctor. My goodness he graduated with honors! That says a lot about the man. read more

I saw Dr. Pittman once, when I was looking for a PCP in the area. They did a CBC and checked BP etc. That was it. When I mentioned my chronic illnesses, he didn't even respond. The second time I tried to see him, his office flat out refused because I'd had a car accident. So if you have GI problems you have to go to the gastroenterologist. If you're acutely sick, you have to go to urgent care. If you mention your chronic illnesses, he'll ignore you. If you've been injured, you have to find a different doctor. So what does he do, half ass physicals only? What's the point? read more
