My pick was the pita falafel sandwich, which came with five freshly-fried, sesame-crusted fritters in grilled pita bread, along with a simple salad of greens, cucumbers, tomatoes, shredded carrots, and shredded endive (very Belgian!). I also got a side of the hummus, which was smooth and thin and perfect for dipping with the falafels. Next, I tried the pita with cubes of turkey, which were juicy and nicely marinaded. Interestingly, the menu here also featured a small selection of Indian dishes like dal and samosas, but the pita sandwiches were definitely the best value items and very reasonably priced given the location of this restaurant, right in the heart of Bruges.
