Recommended by two local friends for their fairness and professionalism, I made an appointment to take it by for some work. They offered me choices based on time and price and how much I wanted done, gave me an estimate on some upgrades that I want to make "someday," texted with progress and pricing things, and as was the experience that others told me, didn't try to be "shady" about the cost. LeAnne is a treat and he is like an uncle that tells you what needs done, can show you, and explain it to those of us who aren't mechanics or auto techs. All of the stars! I found the place. The old Jeep is like a primitive dune buggy with all of the personality and quirks without any pesky modern amenities or safety features. Held together mostly with bailing wire, bubble gum, and hope. I need a place like Shadetree to be able to enjoy it and still be able to afford food and gas.

He owns Mac's Auto Repair at 819 Englewood Rd Madisonville across from Wendy's in the back. (423) 442-2700 When he realized the travesty done regarding my engine, he decided to examine the whole situation - without me asking him to. He charged me 6.5 hours but put a whole day into it. So I have to revisit him, as soon as I get the money and toss a crisp new C-note at him. My engine runs like factory. Amazing. If you need work done it would be well worth it to contact him. If you need a ride home brother and pick up, I'll lend a hand there too because I am not one bit afraid to drive my car anymore. Runs like a Swiss watch. This guy is solid.

Thank the good Lord I found honest people to fix it for me. I took it to Turner automotive a week ago and he told me he would fix it for me. 4 business days later I called, and he said he hadn't got the parts yet. That's odd because he rushed me off the phone before I could ask anything else...auto part stores can get you parts overnight. It's been 7 full days and he's never called back. I think he has other vehicles that cost alot more than mine to repair and he just lied to me. I called 411 automotive just to get the number off the internet on a Sunday and the man called me back and told me yes he could repair that this week. The estimate was reasonable when I told him what I needed repaired. I believe he's honest. Unlike the man from Turner automotive...who takes 7 days and doesn't even call to update you on when they can repair your car? If he didn't have the time or desire he should have just told me. I will be letting you all know how 411 Automotive does me,hopefully it's a great experience....but don't deal with Turner automotive unless you have thousands of dollars in repairs, because he doesn't consider you worth his time. 411 automotive I will see you tomorrow and thank God for you!

I started the truck and there were brake warning lights all over. We did some YouTube research and tried all the methods. The first thing in each video was, if you do a brake service on these trucks, you have to put the truck in service mode. We did not...So, the method to correct this we found was to remove the battery terminals (both) for a minimum 30 mins. Reinstall, drive for (i did 35mi back to my camp site), truck in limp mode (43mi per hr). Called Joe's shop at 8:15a. The lady that I spoke to was very nice and very understanding of my situation. She called back and said Joe said to bring it and he will fix it. I went to my truck to go, started it and everything was clear. Drove to the shop to test. Worked perfectly, like they were when it was new. I thanked the nice woman in the office and praised her for he communication skills. I would recommend this shop to anyone in this area that needs automotive service or, like in my case, and emergency repair if needed. Honesty goes a long way with me and I appreciated their honesty.
