This is another one of those rather delightful places from my childhood. Yeah, it is a park, but in…read morea way, it is somewhat more natural than the other park just across the road. I used to walk through here regularly to go to swimming classes, and would also come down here for games with scouts. It has been cleaned up up a lot since I was young, and even has a fitness track. Oh, and the public pool is still here.

This is another one of those places that I used to visit very regularly when I was a kid, namely…read morebecause I used to walk around it when I went to school, and we would also regularly job around it when I was in Scouts. Once again, little has changed, but as an oval it is pretty servicable, and it even has some stands (and have since added seats to it as well). They do have local games here, both cricket and football, so if you are into amateur sports then they usually have something on here over the weekends. There are also some club rooms, but I've never been inside so I can't really comment about it. Nice, place, and also great for dogs because you can let them off the leash in the morning.
