You can tell the food is made fresh, not rushed or mass-produced. While ordering, I couldn't help but notice all the other food they have... and yeah, I ended up ordering way more than I needed But honestly, no regrets, I've got food for the next couple days. More importantly, the service was exceptional. The mother and son made us feel like guests in their home, not just another table. You waited 32 minutes? Good food made from scratch sometimes takes time. I'd rather wait for a fresh meal than get something thrown together in five minutes. As for the "healthy food" comment, that wasn't an excuse it was an explanation. Not everything has to be drowning in butter, salt, or grease to taste good. Maybe the restaurant wasn't the problem. We love tiramisu and asked for it and price; the guy behind the counter took the order of one tiramisu and two coffee. For my surprise, it was a tiramisu cake not the original tiramisu. After we paid the waiter told me that they ran out of it. Well, we got refunded for the cake and decided to get two small biscotti that almost break our teeth, plus the coffees were not as we were expecting from an "Italian" bakery. Unfortunately, non of the waiters were nice enough to make our experience better by asking if we wanted something else. Anyway, I will continue visiting the other Italian bakery near them. So, no, I don't recommend it.
