She spoke to him as if he were a child interrupting her. I was shocked, and at first thought she was joking. The five of us left without ice cream. Such a shame. I understand you're busy serving many families, but under no circumstances should staff be rude to customers. I'll also note this wasn't one of the young kids working. It was an adult who should have known better. I'd recommend going to the Bemus Point market instead, where the owner is always warm and welcoming to customers, as is the rest of the staff.

SOLD. It was a delicious, and paired nicely with a side of sweet potato fries. Total bill with drinks was about $30. The whole establishment was clean and everyone was exceptionally friendly (maybe I'd feel friendlier at work if I got to wear roller skates?). If I have one regret it's that we had nowhere near enough room left for dessert, and the ice cream and milk shake menu looked amazing. Guess we'll have to make our way down there again to try it!

I will say her cookies are quite delicious. I wrote a few times. We had some messages through Facebook and then the phone call. We spoke about my order. She was going to call me back to complete the order. She never called me back. I was forced to order from Macy's. When I wrote her to politely ask her what happened, and why she didn't call me back she became very rude and snarky. She said she was overwhelmed with health issues. She should have just told me from the beginning that she could not fullfill my $100 order. She was insulting and told me that I "wasn't the type of customer she wanted" wow! They also have plenty of crystals, stones, cards, and gifts for sale as well as regularly hosting events like live musicians, healing presenters, magicians, etc. There are usually plenty of places to sit down indoors as well as on the large open air porch. It gets pretty busy after a major workshop ends or a public reading event in the auditorium, but so far the line has moved in good time and with kind service to keep it a great experience. For lingering, there's a bookshelf of books to borrow while in the cafe or for fostering a different type of connection, there's a bookshelf of games to play while at the cafe as well. It seems they've considered everything that makes a great hangout experience and gone above and beyond to offer it!
