My previous experience with Pit Stop was very good. Recent issues are growing more to the lack of knowledge in maintenance services of the car/truck washing system. Car washes usually do a satisfactory wash and rinse. Non-commercial trucks is not a satisfactory wash. The timing is "Late" on the cycles and the rinse cycle leaves the entire front section covered in suds. I noted this twice to the attendants and the first man said the manager had reset the timings and he would let him know again. My next visit ended with the same results and I pointed this out to the "manager" on duty. He was obviously upset with the issue because he immediately defended his claim that he had reset the timings and could not fix it and he did not know what to do. Not a quality answer from a responsible person managing the business. I've used this business for many years and like the location, attendants and hours of operation. The degrading service is quite noticeable and repairs need to made to maintain a quality service. read more

Love the place, service is great, trying to get someone to help you, FORGET IT! complete ghost town! Place is understaffed, towels are very minimal lately. I go in every day at the end of the work day to wash the company car and it has been empty. We miss seeing the friendly staff and their happy faces when they are there. Great place great value, love the location. People are not happy to see there's no one on site to help if needed. Thanks guys for your services. Do not take your car to this place. if the machine malfunctions or they pull you in the bay wrong and your car get beat to you know what. because the belt stops pushing you. they will not take ownership. and what is funny is they asked me to drive through with them to show me why it malfunctioned. I told the Manager Steve how can you duplicate your machine malfunctioning 3 X after it was reset. I said regardless of the why it malfunctioned it did. And as a result my tires were pinned and grinded on the inside and my car was beat to you know what and I had to drive myself out your bay . I repeat do not go to this place. read more

I do not recommend this car wash. It's old and dilapidated and does not get a clean wash. Then when asked to drive through one more time... the male "Karen" manager acted as if I was trying to get over on Pit Stop and somehow hustle a clean rinse. When expressed one other time I was awarded this opportunity due to similar circumstances he states "I doubt that". As if I would lie about that. Furthermore I would drive 20 minuets to come here because I had liked the customer service and it's near a coffee shop I like. Even though its a 5$ wash....Never again will I come to this car wash, Pit Stop lost a loyal customer this day. read more

Brand spanking new car wash. The machines appear to be a little thinner than the old place. No big deal they do a great job. I personally prefer the car wash that utilizes the big spinning brushes. Those high pressure things feel highly infective on a dirty car. I've had the pressure washers leave streaks in the mud on my car. They start as low as $3! Pretty good deal for the amount of scrubbing that goes on in here. When you first pull in you drive threw a waterfall of soap bubbles and it's pretty cool. Espelly with the blue lights. The guy here was really helpful. I went to put change into the machine and was confused as it does not take change. A guy poped out of an invisible door and immediately took my quarder and scanned a card to get me threw. Pretty great service that I haven't even asked for yet. They offer a monthly plan. If it was closer to me, I'd drive there everyday. read more

It's nice to be able to have a car wash and you can drive through every day as many times a day you want to for the same amount of money every month but it would be great if your car got clean especially if you have a white car so you go through three or four times and then make sure that you go every day at least twice just to make sure that your car stays clean read more

Stopped by to try this new car wash. I just needed a touch up so opted for the $3 wash. The staff here is friendly and informative. The wash did a great job getting the car sparkling clean. They also have self serve vacuum conveniently located on the street side of the building. A quick vacuum and off I went. Awesome! read more

I have two vehicles that I've been driving through since they started a year or so ago. I absolutely love them and regretfully may need to cancel subscription because I now live in Palm Bay... where the infamous Bills Car Wash is at. I drove through it once and didn't like it. I saw they were using cloth rub rollers; well at least they looked like that. Pit Stop uses non-porous foam brushes that don't hold grit or grim like cloth does; well thats what I think and I'm sticking to it. I like to get my car washed often. This is the only car wash I could find in close proximity to my house that offers an unlimmonthly pass. I have had monthly passes in other cities I've lived in and this is the most expensive for what you get. Other car washes brush the bugs off your front bumper and windshield before entering the car wash. Although Pit Stop offers free vacuums, others give the option for someone else to vacuum and they at least have someone towel dry the car on the way out. Having towels and windex available by the vacuums would also be a nice touch. Update: This self serve car wash has really stepped up their game. They now have soapy brushes and sponges available to use before driving through the car wash, which now costs $5 for the basic wash. There are clean towels available at the free vacuums - yay! Their monthly membership is now only $14 - a bargain! I applaud them for listening to feedback and making improvements. read more

Saw this new car wash right on my way to work so decided to try it out. Easy in/out, easy on-screen menu, stay-in-car, all works for me. Not a fan of brushes but these aren't the plastic fibers of old, they're some kind of foam. Met two of the workers (owners?) and they were very friendly and in uniform even! The one at the start pressure-washed the front and checked my side mirrors before I drove on the belt. The car looks great (looked like *hit before I took it in...). I think given the convenience I'll be buying one of their all-you-can-eat monthly passes. UPDATE: I've had the monthly pass since March and use it 2-4 times/week since I drive right by on the way to work. Very satisfied. read more

This was the best car wash experience which might sound strange but everything about it was just fantastic!! Only 3 dollars and my car is so clean and shiny and then i vacuumed out the inside (which was free!!) and it looks as nice as when I got my car!!! I've been here twice because of the love bugs in May. The staff did a nice job of getting those out of my bumper with power washer. The only issue I had was with the car tunnel wash. It did not really do that great of a job on the car and left areas with dirt where the brushes did not pick up in the car wash tunnel (notably the trunk area of my sedan). I really only cared about getting the love bugs off my front bumper. I would not come here otherwise. read more

This is the most amazing place with amazing prices. The staff is absolutely awesome, extremely friendly and helpful. For under $20 a month I can get my car washed every day and the vacuums are free. The vacuums are so clean and powerful, not like the other car washer's vacuums. I live on a dirt road and hated to spend money to wash my car as it would just be dirty the next day. My dirty car was an embarrassment to me. I drive through four or 5 times a week and I'm so thankful a coworker recommended it! read more

We have the monthly pass (don't remember what it's called) but it's $30 a month & love it! We come at least once a week. We bring our own drying towels, tire cleaner but use their vacuums which work great! They do have towels for you to use. They also have great customer service! Yesterday as I passed Pit Stop Car Wash on US1 I made a bad decision to get my car washed. I drive a black Lexus SC430, it's my baby and I take good care of it, so much so l rarely take it to a car wash. After my wash I pulled into the vacuum area to towel dry. It was then when I noticed a large circular scratch on my newly painted hood. I immediately found the manager to show him the damage. He could have cared less and totally denied that his machinery could ever damage a car and claimed no responsibility. I know my car well enough that this deep scratch was not on the car before my wash. I then took my car to Oceanspray car wash to try to have the scratch buffed out but unfortunately it was so deep it cannot be removed. This three dollar car wash cost me $400, ruining my paint job. Must assume pitstop has no insurance or just doesn't care. Guess you get what you pay for. read more
